Incredible spot! - Edit
All vegan, great and kind service, very unique and delicious food! I recommend coming with a group and sharing multiple dishes, as it's hard to know what will be your favorite just by reading the ingredients. The taste can surprise you!
Read moreThe home made teas were also nice, the peach one was not so sweet, which I do appreciate! Cozy spot, very charming. Definitely a highlight of my trip to BC.

Good food, great choice if you're already on Davie, wouldn't go to Davie specifically to eat here. - Edit
Good food, but the dishes we had weren't amazing. Had the duck pancakes, coconut coffee (though we asked for the Vietnamese coffee) crispy summer rolls, and hestia storm noodle. The crispy rolls were my fave. Great texture, great flavor. The duck pancakes were good. Simple flavours, lovely pickled veg to add in. Coconut coffee was fine. The hestia storm noodle was a cool presentation and the veg were fresh, but the flavour was underwhelming. Love that there's a vegan place on Davie, but I wouldn't go here again unless I was already in the area. Imo, there's better vegan Vietnamese elsewhere in Vancouver.

Outstanding Vietnamese Cuisine - Edit
One of the best Vietnamese meals I’ve ever had, if not the best. The dishes taste just as amazing as they look in the photos. Combined with the pleasant, quiet music and relaxing atmosphere, it makes for a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended.

Absolutely incredible in every way! - Edit
What an absolute gem - we were welcomed so warmly and looked after by such a lovely lady. Every dish we had was incredible, and they were even able to accommodate our dietary requirements (no onion and no garlic). We came here for lunch, and it was so good that we have ordered again for dinner! We plan to make our way through everything on the menu...!

Amazing! - Edit
When we first walked into The Hestia Veggie we were all warmly welcomed. We got a variety of appetizers, i think it sss the dumplings, spring rolls and a deep fried roll, all of which were very good nice and fresh. I tried the Miss Saigon noodle bowl and the sizzling steak and I have to say the noodle bowl was my favorite. it was a great portion and i loved all the fresh veggies and the vegan meat used! I would definitely come back and would recommend this place to anyone, the service was quick and the lady serving us was so sweet! i definitely want to go back to try the sticky mango rice too!

So many vegan food options, all exceptionally tasty. Vegan crispy duck pancakes were especially good, as was the fried oyster mushroom starter and the vegan chicken lemongrass hotpot. Left very full and happy😄

Fantastic Vegan Vietnamese - Edit
As a vegan, it’s always exciting to find a fully vegan restaurant, so I was really looking forward to trying Hestia Veggie. It is plant based Vietnamese It did not disappoint.
Read moreWe started with the lemongrass tofu, deep-fried mushrooms, and spring rolls. Everything was great, but the deep-fried mushrooms were definitely the highlight of the starters—crispy, flavorful, and hard to stop eating.
For our mains we had the pad Thai and the laksa, and both were excellent. Really rich flavors and very satisfying.
We finished with the banana roll for dessert, which was the perfect way to end the meal.
Honestly, everything we tried was delicious. It’s rare to find an all-vegan spot that nails every dish like this. I’ll definitely be back.

Incredible Vietnamese food - Edit
What a hidden gem! I've been to Vancouver many times and I can't believe I've never eaten here before. The Hestia Veggie serves creative vegetarian and vegan Vietnamese food. The food is fresh, flavorful, and vegetable-focused. I especially loved the Vegan Fish Noodle Bowl, which was very unique (after being vegan for 6 years, this was the most realistic "fish" I've ever had!). The portions are generous and reasonably priced. Service was quick and efficient, even during the lunchtime rush. Bright and spacious. Conveniently located downtown, within walking distance of the beach. I will definitely be back!
