Friendly service and a good vegan roast - Edit
*****UPDATE MAY 2024:
Read moreThe pub now has new owners. Unclear what the vegan options will be like, but owners have informed us that there will be a vegan roast option. Will update when we know more and have tried it out.
*****UPDATE NOV 2023:
We noticed that the menu has changed, and doesn't appear to have as many vegan options as before. Fortunately they still appear to do a vegan roast on Sundays. On the weekday menu it looks like you can get vegan nachos and a vegan salad. Unclear if any of the burgers or sandwiches can be made vegan (some are marked as vegetarian). Also none of the desserts are marked as vegan.
*****ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Service was excellent and very friendly. Very understanding when we said we were vegan. The vegan roast wellington comes with vegan gravy and a range of seasonable vegetables. They confirmed that their roast potatoes were cooked separately from meat so were vegan. Most of their roasts come with a yorkshire pudding, so we had to just make sure they excluded that from ours.
Pub is really nice since the refurbishment. Meal was tasty and I was pleased to have a good range of vegetables. This is a more "premium" pub and also this is London so was slightly more expensive (~£14 per roast dinner). Would go back again though.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good choice of vegan food and beers, Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors
Cons: No vegan yorkshire pudding, They do play football on TV so sometimes noisy, Some seating might be leather (not sure if fake)
