Great food!

We were part of a tour group so I’m not sure what the regular menu is like but we had two sushi options, vegetable tempura and vegetable hot pot. Also miso soup. All were really good!

No vegan menu

Blackboard outside said "no vegan menu", decided to stay for coffee.. 4 of us we're offered a table but when we said we only wanted coffee suddenly they had no tables left.

Pros: None

Cons: Still listed on Happy Cow

Tasty Bites

Conveniently located coming off the mountain from the Snow Monkey Park, the Farmhouse offers a quaint place to grab a bite and a pint amidst the snow. Unfortunately there is no longer a dedicated vegetarian menu nor are there vegan labels, but the staff understood veganism and were happy to point out and modify things for us to eat. We shared pickled vegetables, a salad, mushroom and tomato confit, onion rings, and potato wedges with some beers. If you’re looking for a proper meal this isn’t it, but if you’re looking for a place to rest and munch you’d be hard pressed to find better.

Pros: Many veggie options., Friendly, well-informed staff., Good vibes.

Cons: No labeled vegan options.

Nice place with some veg options

They have some tapas options for vegans and vegetarians. I wasn't so hungry so I just got their warm tofu which was quite delicious actually.

Be sure to try the miso

A cosy venue in a scenic spot especially when there’s snow. Easy to miss as its in a cul de sac and doesn’t scream at you as a restaurant. Definitely try the local miso.

Pros: Friendly staff, Not a huge range of vegan options but enough, Reasonably priced for fresh, different meals

Cons: A bit tucked away (but this makes it fun)
