Great vegan daal from friendly people

I've been to The Daaler twice, and both times I've had fantastic food and really friendly service. All three daals are terrific, and very distinct in flavour and aroma, and both times I was offered the chance to taste before ordering, which helped a ton in making up my mind. You might think that just doing daal is a little one note, but they're all so distinct and flavourful that it's not an issue at all. The naan is also gorgeous, not too heavy, and perfect for scooping up the daal with. There's a small seating area next to the truck, and lots of other seating nearby in Bristo Square. Also, the price is super reasonable for the quality and quantity of food, and also considering how central the location is. Big fan!
