Great Atmosphere & Standout Tomatoes

Really enjoyed this spot overall. I had the vegan full English – tasty, but a bit low on protein as there’s no tofu option, so it’s mostly coming from the beans.
That said, the grilled tomatoes were genuinely the best I’ve had – perfectly seasoned and a real highlight. Lovely atmosphere too, relaxed and welcoming.
I can’t comment on the price as it was a treat from a family member, but the coffee was great. Also, don’t let the name put you off – I was half expecting it to smell of cheese, but not at all! 😁
Definitely worth booking – it was seriously busy on a Sunday.

Stunning food in the best beautiful location in town

On a sunny day eating outside here is really special. Chees room specialises in cheese obvs and also high quality ingrediants and flavours. probably the best place to eat on the high street.

The toastie was elevated with a tomato chutney on the side, honestly delicious!

Loaction is second to none overlooking the castle and cathedral. Dog friendly outside and friendly staff. We really enjoyed it!

Pros: high qualiy flavoursome food, wonderful location in historic building, Great vegan cheese!!
