Finally a vegetarian cafe in Simei - Edit
It is great to have a simple Indian vegetarian restaurant in easten suburb of Simei. Murugan is anyway an institution out here. They have expanded their business now to Chai Tapree. The uthappam is my favourite, especially the masala uthappam. Dosas also are good. Valapoo vadai is superb. Of their chaats, I like the palak patta chaaat. Of course, chai is their flagship, lots of variety of chais. They are installing a machine for dispensing pani for pani puris, so looking forward to seeing that operational soon. Great place to have a rendezvous over chai.
