The only “VEGAN” Food experience that leaves me craving for more. - Edit
The infuse flavors that combines into a taste with no easy description. Except, I could sit there from opening till closing eating vegan sushi one plate after other. Service excellent preparation and eye appeal over the top 🔝. I would give it five stars, but unable to do so. Tell them Cloud sent you.

So many choices! - Edit
It's hard to make a decision when a restaurant like Buzz Sushi and Market offers so many marked vegan options! It's a good problem to have.
Read moreI enjoyed the vegan chicken teriyaki don. The "chicken" had a good texture and flavor to it and went well with the rice and veggies that accompanied it.
The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive and took good care of us.
The space is bright and open and comfortable.

Awesome place for vegans! - Edit
So many options! Great prices a great service! Got a tofu poké type appetizer and the buffalo tempeh: both great portions. (Rare these days) . So delicious. Don’t even remember what rolls we had but they were all bomb. Stoked to have this in Santa Cruz!

Plentiful sushi options - Edit
Come on a Sat night & it was pretty busy but we were able to sit inside. Had veg gyozas, spicy Tofuna roll and Alcatraz roll. Gyozas were steamed, limp and a bit bland, I’d prefer a pan fried option for some crispness. We loved the Spicy Tofuna, but the Alcatraz was too heavy on the vegan cream cheeze and it had that Daiya cheeze taste - if you are familiar. We also tried the vegan Salmon nigiri which was visually awesome, but no subtle fish flavor. Wish they had some alcoholic sake option, we just had water. All in all my husband loved it, I thought it was just ok. We’ll probably go back and try some more of the menu.

They have two vegan bowls and a whole assortment of vegan appetizers and sushi. Well priced as well, and great presentation! Can't wait to go back and buy the kimchi they sell.
