Read moreI had the pesto pizza and “calamari” and WOW. I wasn’t expected the pizza to be that good! I think this is some of the best vegan pizza I’ve ever tried. The food isn’t cheap but it’s worth it in my opinion.
I also enjoyed my mesquite drink!

Cool vibes and helpful service. Everything could be made vegan with no upcharge. However, the items are very very expensive, so this would be a “once in a while” option.

Cool vibe but despite claiming to be 'plant-forward' it had dairy in nearly every dish, thus limiting vegan choices. Tastes were overwhelmed by the sauces. Vegan pizza bizarrely tasted of lemon, and ceviche of vinegar.

I asked if the pad thai could be made vegan and the waitress was very helpful. She offered to sub tofu for the eggs. My husband ordered the vegan curry and we also got the vegan ceviche starter. All the food was beautifully presented and tasty.

Went in on a Friday for lunch with the hubs. Ordered the Gem salad and BBQ sandwich to split. The salad was absolutely delicious with so many textures and flavors. The sandwich was unique with tofu skins as the ‘meat.’ Would def come back and try more.

We went with friends, who recommended the place. We really liked all the dishes we got, especially the green curry. Everything was fresh and very tasty, the staff very friendly and overall a great atmosphere.

We shared the vegan Caesar Salad (so good! Whoever thought to use crouton bread crumbs in a salad was genius) and the vegan Pesto Squash pizza, and both were delicious and felt like a healthy eat! I honestly would have liked a few more vegan options vs eggy vegetarian options on the menu, but I’d definitely go back if I was in the area, or with an out-of-towner.

Came here as I heard so much hype about it. There are some vegan options marked, but other ones are unmarked. As most vegans know, it’s best to ask what can be made vegan at places. Same goes for here.

The Brazilian Blast smoothie was good, though the Solar Power one used pineapple that was likely not ripe yet since it was bitter.
The rice paper bacon is missable. It has an interesting flavour, but it tastes and its texture is more reminiscent of a potato chip.

The Butcher’s Daughter is marketed as an upscale vegetarian restaurant, but it is not worth the price at all. Mid overall.
Read moreTried the margarita pizza and the crab cake. The margarita pizza was completely devoid of flavor. The tomatoes were watery, the sauce left a lot to be desired, and they use an unpleasant sticky vegan cheese. Not quite as bad as Cruzer pizza, but proving once again that the best vegan pizza is at Hot Tongue.
The crab cake was alright but also not very flavorful. Extremely disappointed in this expensive and flavorless food.

Staff was knowledgeable and was able to substitute tofu for eggs and vegan cheese for any dishes in addition to the labeled vegan dishes on the menu. The juices were also very fresh and flavorful. We got the green goddess hummus and the vegan BLT with vegan cheese which were both good.

I really loved the jackfruit crab cake. 🥰 the interior vibes are cute, but we sat outside for some fresh air and Venice vibes. It was hard to choose amongst so many delicious options, but we were impressed with our choice!
