Nice atmosphere - Edit
This is a nice venue that seems to be just the right size…not too big and not too small. I had dinner here on a Thursday night when the Twins were playing, so the place was packed with the game broadcasted on all 7 television screens.

DON’T HAVE A COW BURGER REVIEW
Sorry to say it was bland. The burger has a vegan patty, avocado, Chao vegan cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion and vegan 1000 island dressing. No particular flavor stood out. Burgers come with chips or coleslaw (both are vegan per the server). I had the coleslaw which, sorry to say, was also bland.
I’ll give The Block 3 stars for now and adjust after future visits. I’m looking forward to trying one of their many other vegan options:
VEGAN MENU ITEMS
Your Egg Sammy (breakfast item)
The Early-ish Bird (breakfast item)
Buffalo Cauliflower (appetizer)
Vegan Nachos (appetizer)
Black Bean burger
Don’t Have a Cow (burger)
Vegan Philly (sandwich)
Vegan Fried Chicken
Ancient Grain (Salad)
Vegan Mac & Cheese
Phuket (bowl)
Spring Bowl

Many delectable vegan options! - Edit
Stopped in for the twin cities vegan chef challenge. Honestly, didn’t expect their version of a Juicy Lucy to compare to Francis Burger joint, but they give ‘em a run for their money! Worth a visit!

Good food! Many options! - Edit
We eat at The Block probably twice a month. Great place to go when you need to appeal to all kinds of eaters. The Phoebe and the Phuket are excellent as well. Just go there (or their sister restaurant, The Howe)!

It's ok - Edit
Few items on the brunch menu (not just vegetarian or vegan) but the entire menu has too few options. Bloody Mary was mediocre. Food was good not memorable.

This new hot spot features a year-round heated-floor dog porch (enclosed). They had several great vegan choices. I had the wild mushroom polenta and loved it!!
