Lovely little place down from the main crowds, and cheaper than the big hotels!

I was staying locally and on the day I arrived I was after a little spot near the beach to have breakfast- this was a beautiful treat! I managed to get a table right at the front, on the edge of the boardwalk, perfect for people watching and listening to the calming sounds of the sea.

I had an oat latte (it was passable, but very few coffees in Bali have really taken my fancy) and a spirulina smoothie bowl. The bowl was lovely, a really vibrant green underneath and topped with fresh banana, strawberries and granola. I took my time with it and it didn't melt too quickly which was nice. The granola was crunchy and not overly sweet.

Each item on the menu is clearly marked vegan and with the smoothie bowls you can choose which milk they use, I went with coconut and it was a hit with me!

The staff were laid back and friendly despite it being busy the morning I was there. I'd recommend going there if you're staying nearby, especially if you want to pay slightly less than the resort prices further up the beach. There's not a lot in it, but it might save you something.

In years gone by I went to the spa there and had a lovely treatment too, so perhaps if you're looking for a day of pampering, this might well be a spot to try out!
