Unexpectedly Amazing Brunch - Edit
We visited Terter for brunch and were pleasantly surprised! At first, the menu seemed very small, with limited choices — perhaps because it was a public holiday. The dishes were also not described in much detail and the menu was not in English, so we weren’t exactly sure what to expect.
Read moreBut once the food arrived, we were blown away! Each plate was beautifully presented and included a variety of different components — creative, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and unique vegan breakfasts we’ve had in a long time.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for something fresh and different in Brussels!

Lovely all vegan place - Edit
So great to see a new fully vegan place! Tried the brunch, an iced latte, and a rhubarb/raspberry tiramisu. Everything tasted so flavourful and fresh. The atmosphere is just really nice too. Can’t wait to come back!

Au début, le prix nous a un peu calmé. Mais en réalité les quantités sont indécentes ! La qualité est au top. Les saveurs sont très justes et recherchées. Nous avons tout bonnement adoré et chose très rare, nous n'avons pas réussi a finir (gêné de gaspiller autant). Une merveilleuse surprise.

We stopped in for breakfast here. The staff were wonderful- super friendly. We shared a pancakes and a scrambled tofu English muffin. Coffee here was also pretty nice. The espresso was smooth and not burnt.

We specifically traveled to visit this café after seeing such wonderful reviews online, which promised a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had anticipated. Upon arrival, we were not greeted, and when we inquired, we were met with brief and dismissive responses, including a simple statement that there was no seating available—despite the fact that half of the café was empty. Furthermore, when we asked questions, we were not responded to in English, even though the café is in a tourist-friendly area. This left us with an overwhelming sense of not being welcomed simply because we didn’t speak the local language. This is, for us, absolutely not in line with the values of the vegan community. It was truly a disappointing experience.

Best vegan spot in Brussels - Edit
Terter is my favourite place in Brussels, they really elevate veggies in a beautiful way and their house made tofu is divine. It's got a lovely atmosphere and the desserts are really fantastic too. It's the perfect place for brunch with friends, a casual date or to show someone how diverse and delicious vegan food is. The staff are lovely. It's quite busy for brunch, but well worth waiting for a table if it's full. They stop serving food after lunchtime on weekdays, so the afternoons are just for drinks and desserts. Everything is gluten free, but nothing tastes gluten-free, the textures and flavours are perfect!

Alors qu'à Bruxelles (comme à Paris finalement) la mode est à la junk food vegane et que les restos véganes proposant des plats plus élaborés sont rares, j'ai pris un plaisir immense à déguster un Jack London. Il y a un soin visuel apporté aux plats et une vraie recherche dans les saveurs, la façon d'utiliser les épices où chaque partie du plat a son goût propre et, une fois mélangé aux autres, prend une nouvelle dimension. Exquis! J'ai mis 3 jours a y traîner mon amie qui n'est ni végane, ni végétarienne et elle a adoré. Et avec tout ça j'ai oublié de prendre des photos. Sinon : un cadre apaisant et une équipe disponible et à l'écoute.

I went here for Sunday brunch with my date and we were not disappointed. We were lucky to get a spot as we hadn't reserved (I recommend you to reserve). The only downsides were that there was an annoying angry woman next to me and the room is quite tiny and noisy. I think it will be better to come here during summer and sit outside.
Read moreThe waitress was super nice and said that we could share one brunch deal if we wanted to, so we did that. The granola is one of the best I've had, and the two main dishes were really full of flavor as well. The blueberry tart was good as well.
I don't know if this is normal, but I loved that they have free tampons in the bathroom.
Would love to be back in the summer.
