it was amazing! very impressed by the texture of the fried seitan. i have to say, the wings were a bit too spicy for me, but were lovely in the wrap. decent french pastries too!

Amazing food! - Edit
Had the popcorn chicken and mac’n’cheese and both were so good we came back the next day to have chicken burgers - temple burger and the spicy one. Both were amazing! Also had mac’n’cheese again it was that good. We also got the cinnabuns to go and the brownies both of which were amazing as well. Brownie a little sugary rather than chocolatey but it meant that it kept really fresh for quite a few days. Amazing place definitely recommend. They have pastries like croissants as well so you could even come for breakfast as they do proper coffee as well.

Walking to Camden Town from the Canal Museum, there it was, a hidden gem. The food is fantastic. Had the Temple Burger with fries, by far the best meat free burger we have ever had. Friendly helpful staff, fast service.

Get in my belly. - Edit
I’ll be honest, I was very full when I walked in here but my friend wanted me to at least try the food. We got the Nuggets and Mac & Cheese! Holy wow, yum yum delicious. I wish I could have eaten more. The nuggets smelt and tasted amazing whatever spices they are using I must know. The Mac & cheese is the best vegan Mac I’ve ever had (I’ve had a lot) I’ll definitely be back a couple more times in my short stay. There are amazing looking desserts I must try.

Vegan bacon tho. - Edit
Not the cheapest but definitely worth a try. Lots of choice but I'd recommend the temple burger and chipotle fries. Not really feeling the fillets and the lemon pepper sauce is below average. Deserts are wicked.

The best vegan fast food I’ve ever had - Edit
This place was absolutely unbelievable. The temple burger really hit the spot after a long day. It was definitely the best vegan fast food I’ve ever had, and the burger was really big and filling. Also, the chocolate brownie was phenomenal. It was so rich—like eating fudge. You need to eat here if you’re in the Camden area.

Almost equal to the hype! - Edit
This was a really fun place to go check out. Seen so many people visit over the year so wanted to go and see what the fuss was about. Now, don’t get me wrong, this was delicious. But not my favourite seitan offering! (Seitan’s Grill win that award!) I tried the temple burger and the classic seitan fillets and a temple brownie. The burger was good - a little heavy on mustard for me. The bbq burger was delicious (pinched some of my husband’s!). The fillets were good, with crispy batter. The brownie was super rich and dense too. However, the amount of salt and oil in the foods was just too much for me! I normally follow a WFPB diet so it was quite a shock to the system. Still, glad I went, it was a really fun place and everyone in my party enjoyed their food! I probably won’t return given how many other options there are in London nowadays, but if you’ve got a hankering for fried chikn, this will satisfy the craving for sure! The walk to the restaurant was fun, I’d never walked along the canal before so that was enjoyable and at 5pm it was super quiet

So so - Edit
The batter was amazing and crunchy. Then my disappointment as a vegan for 10 years who makes a lot from scratch, was the massive sponge like chicken piece was overspiced burning rubbery jawbreaker.
Read moreIt could have been a lot slimmer and doubled up tge crunchy batter in two fillets would have been better.
Inside the seating experience is like going to a 16-18 college where everyones to loud and excited for lunch. Theres no space its crammed and there's not enough seating. I could see in the summer how this would be nice as a tale away but not in the winter! It is not near anything useful to me, bit of a drab walk so I would rather go to a number of other places.
Pros: the lovely crunchy batter!
Cons: karma cola as only option as a drink. hard to find

If you want a healthy or semi healthy meal stop right now. This is not the place. This is super tasty, fast food, chicken tuck shop style food made vegan.

Fast food done right! - Edit
I'm a big fan of fast food, it's probably quite obvious from the profile picture. Going vegan -- I thought -- meant giving up the days of cheap deep fried fillets served in a bun in five minutes.

Temple burger was good but ... - Edit
Per the recommendation of a local we tried the Temple Burger (tasty) but the Mac & Cheese and BBQ Wings were average at best (note: it’s rare food is ever left uneaten as was the case here). Drawn to seek out this place given they serve veg fried chicken, we tried their seitan bbq chicken but found it overpowered by too much sauce - not crispy at all. Mac & Cheese was uninspired. Place was packed and there is casual outdoor seating on benches outside. Staff friendly and helpful.

Having been craving American-sytle fast food for quite a while, eating at the Temple was pure bliss! I enjoyed their fabulous "Temple Deluxe" with a great soundtrack on in the background, wondering once again why some people still think we need meat on this earth when plants can taste so amazing.
