Ultimate vegan fast food - Edit
If you want well tasty, unhealthy vegan grub then this is the place to go. Never, ever disappoints. This is our third visit and won’t be the last. We got the Temple Burger and Deluxe Temple Burger, with fries (some of the best fries we’ve eaten) and Garlic Parmesan Chicken wings. Good selection of drinks and the dips are tasty.

Hail Seitan - Edit
I had the Buffalo burger and it was delicious. The Mac & cheese was also really good! Top tip - order the small portion to ensure pasta to sour cream & bacon bits ratio is 👌

Tasty burgers and seitan - Edit
The restaurant is really cool and calm. You order your food on a screen then a waiter brings it to your table. The staff is nice and polite, discreet also.
Read moreThe burgers are tasty, the sauces are good, creamy, and the seitans are super crispy tasty, but it was a little too salty to me. The portions are quite generous to me. Everything is cooked on the spot so you never get old mushy fries
Pros: Tasty food, Nice staff, Calm restaurant
Cons: The crispy seitan are a little too salty to me

Phenomenal concept, average burgs - Edit
As an avid worshipper of the big man below himself, I was keen as beans to pay my respects at the temple of Seitan in Camden yesterday. The posters, neon lights and general decor were super cute, but I feel I set my expectations a little too high. It’s just vegan junk food in a takeaway shop, a “quick”, easy and cheap meal to eat if you’re in the area and need some food in you STAT. I grabbed the buffalo chicken burg in a meal combo and was pretty underwhelmed. The buffalo sauce was mostly vinegar in taste, and the seitan fried chicken was pretty burnt and difficult to eat. I’m not one to talk sh** about vegan food and am extremely grateful to be in a city that celebrates and promotes vegan food on every corner, but with so many options around it just wasn’t much of a standout. The bloke in the kitchen didn’t seem to have much of an idea about what he was doing and for the simplicity of our orders and lack of people in the shop, we had to wait a pretty long time for what I would generally consider to be “fast” food. To end on a high note - the snack pack with the pickles and cheese sauce with the mince was actually fu**ing phenomenal, wish everything could have been that good.
Read moreTl;dr, cheap and reliable, quality not fantastic. Probably wouldn’t go again unless there weren’t a heap of other options.
Pros: All vegan , Snack pack, Cute decor
Cons: Burnt food, Long wait time for average fast food

Really good American-style fast food. - Edit
It's hard to find good American food in London, but this delivered.
Read moreI got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich combo with a cold brew and tater tots.
The chicken was crispy, had a slight kick, and had a really nice coat of spices on it. The pickles were crisp, the bread had a nice toasty outside and soft inside, and the sauce was creamy with a nice garlic flavor. Coffee was refreshing, tots were crispy.
Just really good American-style fast food.

Bonne option de fast-food - Edit
Le personnel est sympathique, les burgers très bons mais les sides (ailes de poulet et frites) trop salés. Il y a du choix pour les burgers. Bonne expérience dans l'ensemble !

I would stand in line for this - Edit
A new location in Camden Town since my last visit pre Covidium Chloride. We ransacked the place and left (after paying of course) with a succulent 12 piece chicken bucket and a couple of tubs of gravy plus 4 additional ‘complementary’ dips to take home back to the Nord Est of Angleterre. If you’re losing your religion pretty quick, just worship at the Temple of Seitan. The Colonel is already turning in his blood stained grave.

My experience was a bit of a mixed bag. - Edit
As a big fan of seitan, I had high hopes for Temple of Seitan - Camden This is a vegan fast food restaurant that offers inside seating.
Read moreUpon entering the restaurant, no-one was at entrance greeting customers, which left me a bit unsure of how to proceed.
I tried to download and order food from the QR code at the table, but it failed to work. When I eventually managed to ask someone how to order, I didn’t receive a clear response.
Ultimately, I placed my order using the iPad at the front entrance.
I ordered the Temple Burger, Coleslaw, and a strawberry shake. The food arrived promptly, and while it was good, it was rather bland. The Temple Burger had a decent texture, but it lacked the bold flavors I was hoping for. The coleslaw, in particular, was quite underwhelming, and I had to add salt just to give it some zest.
However, the standout of the meal was the strawberry shake—definitely the highlight of the experience.
Overall, Temple of Seitan - Camden has potential, but the lackluster flavors and confusing ordering process detracted from what could have been a much better meal. The strawberry shake is worth trying, but if you're looking for a more flavorful seitan experience, you might want to explore other options on the menu.
Pros: Plenty of seating
Cons: Poor communication and customer service, Bland Taste

Fab garlic Parmesan burger! - Edit
Yum! The garlic Parmesan burger was dripping and delicious. Temple cheese was good too and I’d love to try more stuff. Wish I lived closer but maybe it’s good I don’t! Friendly server who came to encourage us to order on the machine ourselves. It was very quiet too in the shop.

Super fried chicken style vegan place - Edit
Temple of Seitan does a variety of chick*n options, similar to what you might find in KFC. The menu includes burgers, strips and popcorn chicken (alongside some wraps and other items). Since Vurger closed and neat burger changed it's menu, temple of Seitan is probably the best place to go if you want a quick, all vegan, bite with no frills.

Worth the Hype - Edit
We have had a bit of vegan junk food on our travels, but this definitely tops the list. After seeing the wings featured on the Hot Ones shows with veg guests, we became a bit obsessed with needing to visit this spot, and I was nervous it was going to be underwhelming. No worries, because everything was amazing! The tenders had the perfect consistency, and both BBQ and buffalo sauces were perfect. The Mac and cheese had great texture and flavor, tots with cheese sauce was spot on, and the animal fries had the perfect makings of chili fries. Oh, and the biscoff shake was AMAZING. We were absolutely stuffed, but loved the entire meal! It is a touch pricey for fast food, but we were happy to support a fully vegan London staple.
