Such a disappointment

I travelled all the way from Bromley to check this place out. Having read the amazing views my expectations were really high and I was excited to try out the vegan fired chicken. Having finally got there, (travelling over an hour through traffic) I was greeted with grumpy, unapproachable faces. The customer service was poor and no one looked remotely happy to see any customers. As it was my first time there I was inquisitive about the menu and to be fair the lady with the crazy eyebrows was informative. Having ordered the two piece chicken and having taken a bite I felt sick. It was vile. Alongside this I ordered the sub, the popcorn chicken and also the chocolate mud pie. The popcorn chicken was okay and the sub was quite nice but I couldn't eat more than a bite of anything without feeling sick. All afternoon I felt like puking up and I decided to save the rest of the food till the next day and give it another go. Bad choice. Feel sick again having taken another bite of the sub. Something was severely wrong with the food. I'm sure mud would have tasted better than the chocolate mud pudding. Hugely disappointed and seriously ill! Will never ever go back. I can't even think about it without feeling sick. Personally I would only rate it 2, but it won't allow me to.

Pros: None

Cons: Everything

Nice bun but..

The only thing nice about my meal was the burger bun. My partner and I ordered the Temple Burger, buffalo wings, coleslaw, chips and Karma cola coming to £21.

Nice idea but executed all wrong and the seitan is sub standard. Vegan Chicken shop should have there abouts normal Chicken shop prices if you want to convert the masses.

The seitan was dense, rubbery and tasteless. The crispy coating was not seasoned and all the flavours were weak. No spice, no kick. They certainty haven't discovered the colonels secret recipe.

My partner makes amazing seitan fried chicken so I know it can be done much much better. I'm amazed that so many people fall for it, but it is a hipster fly trap.

The chips were school dinner chips that cost £3, so definitely not cheap as chips he he.

The Karma Cola was two gulps in a can and was the cheapest, nastiest 'roll cola' but has been rebranded for those easily fooled by artisan packaging.

The buffalo wings were the same as the tasteless burger fillet and had siracha sauce all over which was a terrible mix. Should have used a spicey BBQ sauce in a pot on the side so that the sauce doesn't make the seitan soggy.

The whole experience was disappointing. I went there starving hungry and left most of the meal it was that off putting. I later threw up what I did eat as it left a bad feeling in my stomach.

It's nice that a vegan chicken shop exists, but disappointing that this is the best option out there so far and a bad example of vegan fried chicken to give non vegans.

Would give no stars if I could.

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Tasteless, Expensive, Bad example of vegan food

Now Closed down.

It's just ok.
It could be so much better
Awful cheap long life bread rolls and tasteless mass catering fries.
The fake chicken is good, but come on! You are being charged so so much for a man with a moustache to serve you. He barely smiles.

It's a gimic!

Wtf has happened to veganism?!?

As a vegan for over 15 years I was always proud to know that my diet was far superior in health than any non-vegan. Being vegan meant healthy and cruelty free. You can't beat that, right?!
And then the UK vegan craze happened and shops like this started to pop up.
I finally had the opportunity to try TOS for the first time last night, excited about all the hype.
4 Hot wings, coleslaw and a wrap, split between me and a friend.
Yes, it tasted delicious, but that's the easy part....with the right ingredients...
After about 10minutes I started to get a really fierce, odd headache (I don't ever get headaches) and it continued throughout the night until I went to bed. Even 2litrs of water couldn't rid of it.
So...wtf is in this food???
It might be vegan, but it's definitely not healthy and I'll never eat here again. My friend had a stomach ache for the rest of the evening too and it kinda ruined our night.
Maybe this isn't noticed for people who don't normally eat well, but my healthy body did not react well to whatever was in that food.
I'm disappointed that vegan no longer means healthy as more and more substitute shops for "[censored] fast food" keep springing up in London. It's killing our vibe and killing the passion and standard that vegan means and has set all these years. :(

Pros: vegan

Cons: not healthy at all and God knows what's in it

Terrible

I can only imagine that the people who eat here do it for the novelty. The flavours are dull, the hot sauce makes you feel sick (and not because it's hot), the chips are just McCain's, and over all it's a wholly unremarkable experience.

Pros: At least it's vegan

Cons: Shame about the quality

never coming back

Just two tables outside and both filthy and dirty. Staff was nice, but food was horrible. It felt like everything was drenched in oil and tasteless. Me and my partner felt sick afterwards. Do not recommend this place. Keep your money for other vegan places.

Pros: nice staff

Cons: Food was horrible, greasy and tasteless.

Ok, slightly over-rated

It was fun to try and the staff were friendly but true to form with fried food it was greasy and I felt a bit sick afterwards.

Never again

Went as a group, all of us came away with almost instantaneous stomach cramps and agony. I was mega excited to try it out as have seen all the social media activity, it tasted ok but came away feeling like absolute death. Fries are good with good range of sauces but really what’s the point if you’ve had to cancel your evening plans and pitch a tent in the bathroom.

Pros: Fries
