Vegan Dosa - Edit
Perfect spot for a pre-theatre curry before seeing Derren Brown at the Kings Theatre. Milagu Rasam is a spicy, tasty broth and my wife’s sweetcorn soup was less spicy but still tasty.

Really pleasant surroundings and helpful friendly staff.
Would definitely eat here again

Overall it was pretty good. The menu did have a few vegan mains but I would have liked a couple different ones. We ordered the veg samosas, which were very good. They came with a sauce that seemed a bit like a bbq sauce. Delicious. The mains we ordered were the mix veg curry and Bhindi Masala. Side of plain rice and chapati. We asked for the mix veg curry to be extra spicy but it was average spicy.

I had to try Taste of Chennai because I love dosa!! I got a rava dosa with potato masala and onion and tomato, and it was really nice. The crispy parts of the dosa were great, the textures were so nice. I also wanted to try mushroom manchurian and the flavour was amazing!!!! 😻

Visited this restaurant after we went to another one reviewed on here to be told it was only a pop up and now closed. So happy that happened as we stumbled across this amazing Indian restaurant. They have so so many vegan options and clearly marked all over their menu. Staff were amazingly friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the food which is a dream as a vegan as I wasn’t made to feel like me double checking stuff was an issue or inconvenience at all. Wish we lived in Glasgow as this would be my fave restaurant. Will be planning a dine out here for every visit to Glasgow now. Highly recommend!
