Pretty solid, really fun atmosphere - Edit
Pretty good vegan hot dog options, not the greatest, and not big portions for the $$. But had an enjoyable experience and would go back if eating with omni’s.

Bad Cheese but Okay Overall - Edit
I get it that vegan cheese is hard to melt sometimes, but they didn’t even try…it was just a ton of cold shredded cheese on a hot dog. Glad there was a vegan hot dog option in West Hollywood nonetheless. But wish they put a liiiittle bit more effort into finding a better vegan cheese that actually melts on their glizzies.

Tail O' The Pup is longstanding LA staple from way back when (1946).
Read moreNow located in West Hollywood, also known as WeHo this Hotdog shaped hotdog stand is a full on restaurant with a lot of vegan and vegetarian options.
Vegan Chili is pretty nice, a touch salty (think more than Amy's).
They do a good job of preparing food for veggies. It's on par with places like Besties Grocery Market, but not as impressive.
Tail has the Coca Freestyle (like at AMC) machines for beverages, which I love and some solid fries and sides that are vegan friendly.
Parking is what you'd expect in WeHo, but there is local street (meter) and garage parking available.

I love a classic Hollywood spot, so I was super excited when tail o the pup reopened with TONS of great vegan options! Good food, reasonable prices, great vibe and friendly staff. And be sure to check out the speakeasy tiki bar upstairs!
