Vegetable worship at its best! Get the vegan tostada! Oscar is the best and the staff are amazing. The parklet and the inner seating are both stellar.

this is my favorite taco spot. they change the menu a lot but always have at least 3 vegan options! my favorites so far have been the potato taco (when it has salsa macha) and the mushroom mole taco.

The vegan options here are incredible. They normally have a vegan tostada, the classic broccoli taco and one other seasonal taco option. The broccoli taco is one of the best dishes I’ve had and is a must-try. They also have rotating agua frescas and horchatas that are vegan.

Cute little walk up window restaurant with a patio and curbside seating. About half the menu is vegan, so there were great options. I got the potato tostada, the broccoli taco and the asparagus taco. My husband tried the vegetarian beans and cheese taco. We shared the chips and roasted tomato lol salsa. All were tasty. The tostada was by far the best. The flavors on all were unique and the presentation was gorgeous!

I love local, and I frequent this spot A LOT, even as a vegan. There’s some staples, like the broccoli taco with a peanut drizzle, but most items rotate, based on seasonality. They use local produce - essentially a farm to taco spot ;)
Read moreSince the menu rotates, its best go check the current menu on IG. Usually between 2 to 4 items are vegan. Often also a tostada - with for $6 sounds pricy, but it’s filling. The best prices are absolutely fair.
Great spirit, great vibe, excellent flavors. I miss sitting on the patio, which is still closed since the pandemic.
My only wish would be more plant based protein, like a side of beans, or so, to up the nutritional balance.
On Sundays, there’s a sorbet pop up - QUINTESSENCE SORBET - all vegan. Wow!!!! Get the pistachio. Or anything, really. The sorbets taste so fresh and full of flavor, no bs.

Cons: Patio is still closed from the pandemic, Can sometimes be a longer wait of ~30 min

Amazing vegan tacos! - Edit
This and casa are my two favorite vegan taco spots. I think they change their menu frequently and the sauces are so tasty. I don’t even like beets but their beet mole taco was to die for! Highly recommend! Also $4 per taco, 3 were filling so a $12 meal is a steal!

So happy this joint is open . The vegan options are always amazing . The hot sauce is so flavorful. The prices are good to not over inflated oakland prices. The staff is rad and the do your self a solid and get paleta after .

Delicious vegan options on a seasonal menu - Edit
They usually have vegan tacos and a vegan tostada available. I love trying one of every vegan thing. Everything is so fresh, flavorful and unique. I’m also super into their salsa and chips. I can’t recommend this place more. The outdoor eating space is a pleasant space to sit.

You may have to order at a counter and sit at limited seating outside, but the food is delicious! They usually have about 5 items on their menu, 2 of which are always vegan and 1 of which is usually vegetarian. The food is fresh and beautiful! The tacos here include ingredients that you won't find in most places such as beets, snap peas, squash, etc. Highly recommended!
