Delicious Vegan Cheesecake - Edit
Really great vegan cheesecake. Unfortunately there is only one vegan option available each day, but that would be my only complaint.
Read moreThe flavour available today was chocolate macaroon, which wouldn’t have been my first choice, but the chocolate was rich and it ended up being really good.

Great vegan cheesecake! - Edit
Sweet Hereafter is such a cute spot for a dessert date. They have a vegan flavour daily, kept in a different fridge out back to avoid cross-contamination (I was concerned the first time I went and couldn’t find anything labelled vegan in the display case!). I think they use Tofutti; I prefer this style of cheesecake to the cashew-based ones that are popular at vegan eateries in town. They have a ton of different flavours of conventional cheesecakes and I think just one vegan flavour each day; I wish that there were options for me to choose between, but I’ve never been disappointed in their flavours on offer. It would be great if they put their daily flavours on Instagram like some of the donut shops, etc., so I can see how badly I want to visit on any given day given the limited offerings. However, all that being said, best vegan dessert in town.

Decent vegan cheesecake - Edit
Sweet Hereafter is a really cute spot. They seemed very respectful towards vegans, keeping the vegan cheesecakes in a separate case from dairy cheesecakes and having a dedicated vegan scoop. I really appreciated this. I had the vegan chocolate raspberry cheesecake and it was decent, but I've honestly bought better vegan cheesecake at the Superstore (Sweets from the Earth). If I wasn't so spoiled with the amazing vegan sweets available today, I would probably have rated Sweet Hereafter a lot higher.

If I had the money, I'd be meeting with friends over cheesecake and coffee every week. The inside is stunning and cozy. They sometimes have musicians there as well.
Read moreWhile vegetarian, I tried their strawberry mango cheesecake. I've tried many vegan flavours since, my favorites being chocolate based. They do offer one vegan option. I've been told that if you want a specific cheesecake for a time, they'll make it. You can also call ahead, ask what the selection is and they'll save you a slice for later ;)

First and foremost, I love the atmosphere of Sweet Hereafter. The mod Victorian style is very pleasing on the eyes and it's right up my alley as far as style goes. The damasque pink wallpaper, gorgeous comfortable seating and elegant mirrors really give this place a wonderful vibe. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and I highly appreciate that they have a vegan cheesecake choice, it would be nice if they had more than one option a day but I won't complain since any option is awesome. Tonight it was the blackforest. Rich, creamy, smooth and flavorful. Simply perfect for the sweet tooth that I have. I will definitely be back to get a taste of their other vegan flavours.
