Sushi Momo is Amazing - Edit
Went here with my boyfriend on vacation and we were blown away. It was very authentic, the staff were all lovely, and they were very helpful with our choices. Even the bathroom is so so cute. Everything was so great. The atmosphere, the people, and mostly the food!

Low key blown away by this place. I'm usually hesitant about "vegan sushi" because it usually turns out to be day old cucumber rolls. This is the total opposite. We got the 2 person omakase option that was miso soup + edamame + a surprisingly delicious papaya noodle dish + 25 pieces of sushi selected by the kitchen. Every single thing was delicious on it own. This is the kind of gem that gets buried when vegetarians rush to this site to report every restaurant that will sell you a glass of water and a sugar packet as a vegan option. The online reservation process was really easy too, and I'd definitely recommend a reservation.

Gyu - 5 pieces very beefy favor. Served hot.
Fuji flambé - 2 pieces (though very large) and was unexpectedly spicy
Three Champions - 5 pieces served hot. Good there but not left over.
We planned to order 3 rolls for 2 people and were told it wasn't going to be enough food so we ordered 1 more and had 6 pieces left over so would have been fine with 3.

The sushi here is not only the best vegan sushi, but just the best sushi period. It's one of those places where it's better to have the chef decide for you as everything is so incredible. They also have a take out place next door now to meet their high demand and offer free gyoza's on wednesdays!

Read moreWe generally take the menu for two, which is $32 per person for edamames, 2 soups, one or two appetizers (the beetroot tartare is mind blowing!), a bunch of sushi and a small dessert.
I find the price comparable to other sushi places, but the quality is miles above. We've converted non-veg friends to Momo. The only downside is that they're so good that they kind of ruin any other sushi for you😡
They have all kinds of special flavour combos, use a lot of mushrooms, jackfruit, even plant shrimps. Fried and regular rolls all come with their own unique sauce... The chefs are super inventive and always come up with great stuff!

I don't think this place needs more reviews, but I can say that it's definitely worth the rave. One of the most amazing meals I've ever had! Every single roll was bursting with unique and exciting flavors. Our favorites were the vie en rose and the 3 champignons. We opted to order by the roll, though their chef-selected menus are probably a good choice if you feel a bit overwhelmed by how many options they have.

I’ve had vegan sushi in a lot of places including Japan, and this was the best by far. My fiancé and in-laws are Québécois and come to Montreal for Christmas with his sisters every year. This year I came with and for our joint Holiday present, my fiancé’s parent’s brought us here for dinner (we don’t like gifts and prefer joint experiences) and wine. It was fantastic. The service was excellent (staff is proficient in French and English of course.) We mistakenly showed up 30 minutes earlier than our reservation but they managed to sweetly seat us right away even though it was two days before Christmas. The place was packed. I understand why.
Read moreWe ordered a combination dinner and two bottles of a Greek white wine (we don’t like overly sweet wines and the recommendation by the server was perfect.) The miso soup was delicious. The tartare and gyoza dumplings were a nice taste. The sushi was filling and phenomenal. The dessert was the perfect ending. We will definitely return when we are in the city. My soon to be in-laws have a condo nearby and live part time here and part time near us in Phoenix, and they also said they would return and they aren’t even vegans like my fiancé and me!

Même les plus septiques adopte sushi momo. C’est un endroit parfait pour amener nos amis qui ne sont pas vegan. Même ceux qui n’aime pas les sushis tombe sous le charme des saveurs offert par momo. Bref c’est devenue un incontournable.
