The best restaurant in Glasgow, vegan or otherwise!

I’m not vegan but my husband is and this is by far our favourite place in Glasgow. The staff are amazing. The food is incredible. It’s such a cute venue and an amazing atmosphere. I dream of the curry laksa constantly. We have made it a bit of a family tradition to go here on Christmas Eve for the amazing salt and chilli Brussel sprouts (I look forward to them all year!) even if you’re not a vegan, do yourself a favour and run, don’t walk, to Suissi

Pros: The staff (super friendly and lovely people), The curry laksa (and everything else on the menu!), Location (we are lucky to have this in the west!)

Fresh and delicious

So because the wonderful Lotus is closed atm I was extremely pleased to find another 100% vegan Chinese takeaway in Glasgow. The black bean tofu and the salt and chilli chips were particularly delicious. Everything I ordered was full of flavour and fresh, generous portion sizes too 💚

Pros: Salt + chilli chips amazing, Friendly service, Fresh and flavoursome

Dinner in an hour

We were a walk-in at 6pm, many tables booked at 7pm and the waiter squeezed us in, but we didn’t feel rushed. Service was very quick and the food was amazing. We shared a bao bun, husband had pad thai and I had udon noodles in miso. The only negative is we live in Yorkshire and can’t come more often! We will be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pros: Lots of choice, Friendly staff, Quick service

Truly delicious food!

What a great restaurant. We tried the lotus roots and pickled black beans, the tofu parcels, the satay tofu, the jingdu oyster mushrooms, the fried tofu in black bean sauce and the rainbow fried rice. I also had the pandan old fashioned. Everything was great but the Jingdu mushrooms and the pandas old fashioned were particularly amazing. Not to mention the service was great. I hope to be back!

Pros: Amazing food, Lovely service

THEE best restaurant experience

Wow, wow, wow. Me and my partner received vouchers to visit this wee gem for his birthday and were both completely blown away by the delicious food that arrived at the table — and haven’t been able to stop raving about it in the weeks that have passed since. I had the Rendang Curry with Lion Mane Mushroom (which are something I haven’t tried before and they added a great texture to the meal) and we shared the wontons and gyoza’s for a starter. We’ll definitely be back, and look forward to trying out the rest of the divinity that is this menu!!

Pros: Gorgeous food, from taste to presentation!! , Friendly and informative staff, Verrry reasonable prices

Cons: For selfish reasons, it being located 3hrs away💔

Spoilt for choice

An extensive menu with some classics and for me new flavours to try, Chinese, Malaysian & Thai so you can really mix it up. Delicious food well presented by friendly staff in a welcoming atmosphere. Loved the music too.

Incredible experience!

The food in this restaurant is delicious! Honestly, this might be the best asian cuisine I've ever had. The menu is big, with loads to chose from and the service is impeccable.
If you had to chose only one restaurant in Glasgow, I would highly recommend Suissi!

A Must Visit!

Travelled from Aberdeen to visit Suissi and wasn’t disappointed! The staff were super friendly and the decor was lovely. Then there was the food - where do I start? WOW - faultless! Took my omni boyfriend and he hasn’t stopped raving about it and is desperate to go back. Wish we lived closer!

Birthday meal to remember

First of all we booked last minute then half our party ended up 20 mins late due to bad traffic - the staff were so kind and accommodating. The atmosphere in the restaurant was comfortable and relaxed and not too crammed.
The food was delicious - every single dish was full of flavour. I can’t choose a single dish as a standout as they were all amazing, but if I had to pick one it would be the satay tofu starter. We didn’t have room for dessert, but I’m certain that would have been great too.
The cocktails were equally good - the sesame espresso martini was a beautiful balance of flavours and the lychee cosmo was fruity and sweet although perhaps too sweet for some (not a problem for me).
Would thoroughly recommend.
We paid £131 for a group of 6 which included drinks, and it was £46 for starters mains and cocktails for myself and my partner which is incredibly reasonable for such an excellent meal.
All of us are keen to return and try something else from the menu!

My go to and fave restaurant!!!

I have been to Suissi multiple times and tried a range of their menu. All of the food is super yummy and also fresh. I recommend all of the soup based noodle dishes - my top two would be the Curry Laksa and the Spicy Sour soup, both with their handmade ramen noodles. I also love the Tofu Parcels, Gyoza and Thai Green Curry. They also have fab specials and tasty cocktails. The staff are always lovely and welcoming and give good recommendations. It remains me (vegan) and my (non-vegan) partner’s favourite place in Glasgow (:

Pros: Fully vegan with lots of options , Fresh, Something for everyone

The best food anywhere, ever

I love this restaurant and the food is absolutely sublime - so full of flavour. The people who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable/enthusiastic about their food. My favourites are the Rendang, crispy beechwood mushrooms and Cantonese noodles they are soooo good its hard to vary from this but everything I've tried has been delicious. Wish I lived closer. 🤗

Pros: Pretty much everything

Cons: Nothing

Incredible food and a wonderful atmosphere

Suissi is one of my favourite places to eat. Sadly I don't live in Glasgow anymore but make sure I visit every time I'm back visiting family.

The food is amazing, I recommend it all. The restaurant itself is warm and welcoming, and all of the staff are so friendly.

Their cocktails are always exceptional too, and beautifully presented.

the food was so tasty, staff were lovely and even just the presentation of the food was really nice. we had the stuffed tofu parcels, king trumpet mushroom katsu curry, salt and chilli tofu, salt and chilli beech mushrooms and the rainbow rice. we also had this amazing lychee cocktail, i can’t remember what it was called but wow!!!! 🤤 i highly recommend this restaurant. the gender neutral toilets are so nice to see as well ❤️

this is my new favourite place and i genuinely can’t stop thinking about the food i ate last night it was that good. it’s less than 5 mins from partick train station too so really accessible. give it a try, you won’t regret it 🥰🌱
