OMG!!!! Yummy

This is the YUMMIEST food ever. Honestly I could eat it every day!!! We had so much and I felt full but not even bloated or sick hahaha and the flavours were just amazing. I need to try everything on the menu!!

Update: been here loads of times and still stand by what I said! I think Suissi is the best vegan food in Glasgow, it’s so delicious. The people there are amazing, I love them all, and the food never disappoints. I recommend Suissi to everyone 😋❤️🌈🫛🌱

Best restaurant in Glasgow

My new favourite restaurant in Glasgow. Delicious, authentic food. The waiting staff are very friendly. The tempeh bao bun was absolutely lovely. Service is very, very quick- the fastest service I’ve ever had in fact. I was served my entire order genuinely within about 5 minutes.
I ordered the lotus root and pickled black bean for a starter and the Szechuan tofu and rainbow rice as a main. They were both delicious.
The chrysanthemum and goji berry tea was so sweet. I appreciate how they don’t use a tea bag, but actual flowers and berries so you get the whole flavour.
The jackfruit fritters and ice cream were absolutely divine- the jackfruit tasted fresh. Even the garnish was excellent.
The only downside is that the 10p takeaway box which I got for the Szechuan tofu disintegrated while being transported in my car, but I appreciate the eco-friendly option of a cardboard box instead of plastic takeaway tubs. If you have a smaller appetite I would recommend bringing your own container.

Pros: Very fast service , Delicious food , High quality tea

Cons: Takeaway box disintegrates with liquids

Yummy Asian cuisine

Lots of different dishes available. The best spring rolls I’ve had. The salt and chilli tofu was my favourite dish. We also had Thai green curry, clay pot glass noodles, gyoza, hot and sour soup, stuffed tofu.

Reasonably priced - came out at £30 each including one beer. Would recommend.

Pros: Lots of choice , Tasty, Friendly staff

Cons: Tables rock

My Favourite Restaurant!

Suissi's serves the best Asian food in Glasgow!
Not just as a Vegan establishment but even compared to non-vegan restaurants, it's one of the best.

The amount of time I hear non-vegan's raving on about their food is a testament to that.

It's definitely my go-to place!
The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are delicious and wholesome. I've been going for years and every meal I've had was amazing! There isn't any dishes I wouldn't recommend. From the starters, main, desserts and cocktails, you won't be disappointed in any of it.

The staff are friendly. Family run place. Just love coming here!

Fresh, Wholesome, and Award-Winning. A Wonderful Evening!

I had the pleasure of dining at Suissi Vegan Kitchen for the first time last night, generously treated by my lovely friend. The experience truly exceeded all expectations.

We indulged in lotus root crisps, vegetable spring rolls, fried tofu in black bean sauce with a side of jasmine rice, pad thai, and salt & chilli chips. Each dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented in rustic serving dishes that added to the charm of the evening. To finish, we enjoyed a comforting breakfast tea - an ideal way to end the meal.

What sets Suissi apart, in my view, is their strong commitment to fresh, natural ingredients. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that takes such pride in offering dishes free from MSG and artificial enhancers. The menu boasts a wide variety of options, with allergens clearly marked, which made it effortless for me to navigate as someone with a nut allergy. I genuinely felt spoiled for choice. Both my friend and I thought the food was reasonably priced.

As we couldn’t finish all the food, we were able to have the leftovers boxed up to take home. This was a sustainability plus, especially given the issue of food waste in many restaurants.

The member of staff who took our order was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I also loved that Suissi is dog-friendly.

It’s no surprise that Suissi Vegan Kitchen has been recognised by HappyCow as one of the Top 10 Vegan Restaurants in the World. This is a testament to their excellence in vegan cuisine and their dedication to offering an exceptional dining experience.

Overall, we had a fantastic time, and I’m already looking forward to returning. For anyone seeking a dining experience that’s fresh, wholesome, and beautifully crafted, Suissi Vegan Kitchen is an absolute must-visit!

One of the best meals ever

Thanks for such a wonderful meal. We sat for hours enjoying the food here. The blue old fashioned cocktail was one of the best drinks ever. So delicious.
This is a must when visiting sexy Glasgow.

Tops

It's been a while since I last visited Suissi, and even though it was busy, they kindly found me a table. This place is one of the top ten restaurants on HappyCow, and it's clear why. The staff is friendly, and the food is amazing—it might be called comfort food, and it definitely made me happy!

I started with the stuffed tofu, which was fantastic and something I haven't seen in ages. When I asked for a recommendation, they suggested the curry laksa ramen. It was incredible, with a rich, earthy flavor and two types of tofu. It wasn't spicy at first, but the heat kicked in nicely after a few minutes.

I've had a lot of ramen lately, and this one stands out as the best I've had this year. If you're ever in Glasgow or Edinburgh, you’ve got to check out Suissi.

Great again

Worth the trip

Really good and tasty, good value, lots of choice, would definitely go back. Different to other Glasgow places. Tempeh crisps brilliant! We ordered loads of different things to share and it was perfect.

Love the unisex gender neutral loos

Handwash also against animal testing. Been here 3 times now: Aug 2020, Sept 2021, Dec 2024. Second and third time we didn’t like the tempeh crisps as much as the first time. Recommend getting lots of starters and 1 main to share.

Five Stars. So good.

Went on a Saturday afternoon and we did book a table for 2 as others mentioned it can get busy. There were some free tables but I am glad I booked. We ordered the Laksa with udon and the Spicy & Sour with ramen along with some spring rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious. These soups were actually spicy which made us very happy. Will definitely return and would recommend to others.

Disappointing

I am struggling to see what the fuss about this place is all about. We ordered a takeaway last Friday and underwhelming describes our experience. The portions were a disappointing size and the sauce of both our mains was very watery and lacked flavour. Prices have skyrocketed but quality has gone down. Unfortunately this is a trend I have started noticing in many places. Next time I will be cooking my own food.

Cons: Lack of flavour, Pricey

First time won’t be the last

My first visit to Suissi did not disappoint. The staff are so nice and the food is absolutely gorgeous. There’s a good range of options and the menu is reasonably priced. My only regret is not having enough time for dessert, so I have the perfect excuse to go back.

Pros: Food , Staff, Accessibility

Uniquely delicious

Visiting Glasgow, I made a beeline for this place, which I'd tried on a previous visit a few years back and hankered for ever since. The food is unlike anything I've had elsewhere with an emphasis on various kinds of mushroom (though these aren't mandatory). My sweet and sour trumpet mushrooms were excellent and so was my kale starter - in fact, everything was (we shared). Very popular on a Saturday night - we booked but were warned we could only have a table at the front, which was actually perfect as it turned out. The service is efficient and charming. I'll be back next time I'm in Glasgow (though a London branch would be ideal!).

Simply perfect

This place was FANTASTIC. Lovely, patient, friendly and welcoming staff. There was a short waiting time, was greeted the moment I stepped in the door and didn’t have to wait long for my food. I ordered it as take away and it was still hot by the time I got to the park 20 minutes down the road.

You absolutely HAVE to get the lionsmane mushroom rendang. It was beautiful. Everything about this place was amazing and I will absolutely be coming back to Glasgow to eat here again. Literally can not recommend enough.

Pros: Lionsmane Rendang, Staff were extremely friendly, Short waiting time

Best vegan food in the UK

Hands down the best vegan food in the UK I’ve had - hard to pick a single dish because it’s all fantastic. The satay tofu, tempeh crisps and tofu parcels are some of my go-to orders. Really friendly staff too, nice drinks. Book in advance to get a table or if you’re lucky enough to be within the delivery radius (thanks Vegan Wheels!) it also delivers quickly, is hot and perfectly packaged.
