Great sweets! - Edit
I love the sticky buns, I wish they would make more of them! It always seems like they have sold out. Otherwise, I have loved everything I’ve ever gotten from there! They have great brunch and food too. The Mac and cheese is awesome.

Great variety - Edit
I know it's controversial, but I went to a bakery and got fries. They didn't disappoint. The donuts weren't bad either. Highly recommend!

Vegan food in Columbia Heights - Edit
I had the quesadillas: the food was tasty, but a bit pricy ($11). I didn't try the pastries, but they looked really good.

Delicious baked goods - Edit
The baked goods, specifically cupcakes, are balling. All their food is good from my experience but the desserts are the highlight.

Delicious DC dining - Edit
Dined deliciously at DC's Sticky Fingers Bakery, and will definitely return. Moist tasty cupcakes, cookies; flavors rotate. Highly recommend strawberry lemonade cupcake, served with a decorative straw - don't try to eat the inedible straw as my non-vegan guest did! Coconut almond cupcake was divine. The smoky tempeh bacon was sliced thicker than is usual in restaurants, yet well seasoned enough that ordering it on the TLT (tempeh lettuce tomato) sandwich led to a side order to go. Black Bean green Chile quesadillas were milder than expected, good yet more Tex-Mex than Mexican; spiced them up with Tabasco. Dining guest enjoyed the Buffalo seitan as a salad, on bed of crisp greens instead of in a sandwich. Coffees, teas, expresso. Freshly made milkshakes; dreamsicle brought back memories from childhood dreamsicle popsicles, only this is vegan! Will try to go on weekend next visit for brunch.

Cupcakes and cookies! - Edit
I had the red velvet and loved it, but the Cowvin cookie sandwich ended up being my most favorite. We were staying down by the White House, but it was definitely worth the trip.

Satisfied - Edit
Their desserts are definitely delicious and worth trying but I will say that they are not known for their milkshakes so I wouldn’t spend $6.75 for it.

Great place!! - Edit
It was very busy when I got there. I think if I had ordered actual food from the kitchen, I would have had to wait but no harm in that. I got a cupcake and one of their donuts to go and it was delicious. The ladies at the front counter were very friendly and patient with all of my questions/indecisiveness. The atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. I was like a kid in a candy store!

Overpriced latte - Edit
We came here as we passed it by on our way to Best Buy and were excited to see a vegan bakery.
Read moreWe ordered a rhubarb strawberry muffin and a peach almond muffin. I also ordered a vanilla latte with soy milk. Was shocked to discover after we paid, that in the small lettering on the menu it is mentioned that you pay $4,- extra for coconut or soymilk. In a VEGAN bakery. I was shocked, because it was completely unclear to me as to what else they would make the latte with if I hadn't mentioned that I wanted soy milk and also, even in non-vegan establishments I have never before paid more than $1,- extra for the soy-, oat-, almond- or coconut milk.
This left a sour taste in my mouth as the latte was also disgusting and had no taste of vanilla whatsoever.
The muffins were okay, but the experience wasn't the best I had overall.
Pros: Muffins are tasty
Cons: Coffee is bad, You get charged an extra $4 for soy or coconut mil

a long-time favorite that often feels lazy - Edit
everything's solid, though rarely impressive. they've all the tools to make this a stellar joint, but it often feels lazy. entrees oughta be more substantial. you often feel the nickel and diming w/ portioning. it's uncomfortable.

Milk Shakes so good! - Edit
We visited Sticky Fingers Bakery after dinner at Meridian Pint for a delicious night of vegan fare. I enjoyed the peanut butter and chocolate milk shake and my family loved the peanut butter cookies and a cupcake. The staff is very friendly and it's a close walk from the Columbia Heights metro stop. It can be hard to find vegan ice cream, and I know we'll be back!
