Slow food at it's best! - Edit
One of the best restaurants i have seen and tried! Everything was perfect. The furnishing with a lot of candles makes a perfect atmosphere for a dinner. The meal was also very good and the stuff makes a good job. #Veganuary

Great vegan restaurant in a lovely spot - Edit
I've been here a few times in the past 4 years and I keep coming back. The starters and the noodle dishes were excellent. I really like the outdoor seating area as well, its very ambiant especially in the summer months.

As good as the food is, unfortunately our waiter was very impolite and the prices are also quite high for Bulgaria. But if you’re looking for a vegan “fine” dining experience this is it.

Very nice world cuisine - Edit
A bit more expensive compared to other places in Bulgaria, but still cheap compared to European standards and you get very good food, world cuisine. Ask for not spicy in the curry and the Asian noodles if you don't like it. Spring rolls very nice with super delicious sauce.

Best in Sofia - Edit
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and we went all out. Starters, pizza, mains, dessert, lovely Bulgarian wine, you get the picture.

As for the starters, the cheese plate as well as the tacos, were super tasty. Pair the cheese with a nice BG wine and you're good to go.
The pizza is a amazing, great crust & awesome toppings.
The main dishes were also really well thought through and quite filling.
The dessert was of course quite literally the cherry on top (cherry torta - a kind of raw cheesecake) and the chocolate mousse were simply fantastic.
In addition to the outstanding quality of the food, the staff were going above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
I can't recommend Soul Kitchen enough, and the prices are 100% justified for what you get. This is next-level vegan cuisine and I am really glad this place is in Sofia.
Also:
If you want to try a traditional BG dish that's even better than the non-vegan version, do try the Tarator (it's a cold kind of soup), you will definitely not regret it!

Nowadays, I spend most of my time in a city where there are only two restaurants with a couple of vegan options, so I felt like a kid in a toy shop when I saw the menu. Plenty of interesting vegan choices, I just had to have three courses - a soup, a warm starter and a main. The food did not disappoint - beautiful dishes to look at, 10 out of 10 for taste, too. The waitress was polite and efficient. I loved the old townhouse atmosphere in the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily on the day, so the restaurant was empty for lunch. I also missed on the beautiful garden but I do plan to come back soon.

This is a beautiful restaurant that serves beautiful good. It is pricey (for Sofia) but definitely worth it for a treat. In summer there is pretty garden area seating.

Read moreUpdate: went back for a sit in dinner. Order a tofu and veggie curry. Goodness gracious the bowl was so tiny and the portion was very very small for a price of almost $11! I counted the tiny tofu cubes I had and literally it was just 6. This is coming from a woman who eats in super small portions and I found this to be ridiculously small. For a guy, they’d have needed not 2, but 3 bowls of that dish. After not eating all day, I didn’t find this satisfying and was left disappointed instead. However, the food was very tasty. I was scared to order desert afterwards thinking I’ll just be wasting my money.

The restaurant is very well organised and offers a good amount of only vegan options for all meal courses. The food is of great quality and with nice presentation (plating). The restaurant is not really a central one, but it is not that hard to get there either. The staff is polite and responsive.

Wanted to try it from curiosity, since it’s not very common in Bulgaria. Tried one of their pizzas - really, really good! Some of the comments bellow stated that it’s recommended to have a reservation - I agree. Better secure than without a table.

If you want to come you should book ahead or come early as the place gets full quickly. The food is amazing!!!!!! If you come to Sofia this is not to be missed. Love love love it. Traditional food modernised and all vegan!!!!

I ordered from the daily specials menu, three items: Cream soup of cauliflower and pear chunks (celery, fennel, garlic, carrot and potatoes), 5.60 leva - very good; Baked potatoes with diced leeks, dried marinated (sundried) tomatoes, mushrooms, coconut milk and Violife yellow cheese, 11.80 leva - it was rather rich but quite delicious; and a Bonbon of the day (English menu calls it “candy,” but it’s more of a raw protein ball) with roasted almonds and white chocolate covering, 2 leva. I also enjoyed a bottle of IPA brewed in the Netherlands for a Bulgarian brewery. The menu has soups, dips, salads, appetizers, pizza, pasta dishes, Thai rolls and more. Desserts include mousses, cake and fruit plate.
