Lied about food given- “scrambled tofu” was EGGS

Very very disappointed with our venture here, ordered vegan scrambled tofu and scrambled EGGS came out. My husband went back and asked several times if it was really tofu, each time they said yes. I pointed out the stringy bits of the egg and took it back to the kitchen and showed them, only then the chef confessed it was egg. How many other times do they deceive vegans and put animals products in the food? Pretty sure the oats that was made with “coconut milk” was cows milk too as my husband who is lactose intolerant got very sick. Be wary!!

Yes, it is true, your husband did get the normal (eggs scramble) instead of the tofu scramble, for which we have already gave our apologizes many times in written form as well. But it DID NOT happen because we lied. It happened because the trainee who was taking the order did not hear that your husband has ordered tofu scramble. So, he sent a ticket to the kitchen and cooks has made an egg scramble which was served to your table. After that your husband went to the kitchen asked what the tofu scramble was made of. The cooks including the chef who was in charge in the kitchen that day, told him what was tofu scramble made of. surely there is nothing connected with eggs in the recipe. After that your husband came back to the table, tasted the meal again and only THEN brought it to the kitchen, after that he was told that his meal WAS NOT the tofu scramble and was given 100 apologies. They even didn't know your husband has ordered the tofu scramble. They have got the ticket for the eggs scramble as I mentioned before.
We do accept the mistake, but i am sorry, your husband could not have any health problems as he only tried a small bite of the dish, but what he was doing he WAS SREAMING to the staff, throwing forks to them and yelling like insane while our chef together with the cafe manager was begging him sorry about the mistake the trainee had made when getting the order. All the customers were scared as well. Really very friendly behavior from someone vegan...
Yes, we do accept the mistake, and we take it serious, as we work hard on the reputation and yes the boy who took the order was punished for his mistake, but it was the mistake of 1 person. Nobody was lying to you as you say!!!
We already have sent apologies to your husband with an invitation for a free breakfast as we do feel not good about the accident. So, stop spreading your LIES around, calm down and be nice to surrounding you people.
