Huge serving size - Edit
Went here a few times on my trip- recommend the tofu wrap, the falafel plate, and the atomic bomb. Not so much the French toast.

Huge portions! - Edit
Delicious lunch with many vegan options. We had the tofu sandwich, which was super tasty. We also had the cashew Thai basil sandwich. There was too much Thai basil in it, therefore it tasted not so nice. But overall: good place!

Vegetarian place in the centre of Kampot - Edit
This place is in the centre of Kampot and is vegetarian. However, the menu has clearly labelled vegan options, and about half the menu items are vegan. The food is generally high quality and the place is cool and relaxed.

Great vegan options - Edit
I really liked this place and came a few times while in Kampot.
Read moreThe menu is really varied and has plenty of western and healthy options. I had the tempeh sandwich and the pizza which were both filling and tasty.
The prices are very affordable. The staff are great and speak good English.
It's also a nice place to hang out for a few hours in the evening and read or play one of the many board games they have.
Pros: Great menu, Affordable, Nice vibe

Super delicious deceptively large meals! - Edit
Came here after seeing Ya ya vegetarian restaurant was closed for the day and was not disappointed!
Read moreOnce again my eyes were bigger than my stomach, I got the tofu wrap which was amazing - the only negative I can say is that the sauce that comes with it was quite bland..
I ordered fries as a side - these were some of the best fries I have had in Cambodia - or maybe even South East Asia! The ketchup that came with the fries was also super delicious!
For my drink, I had the atomic bomb smoothie (mango, banana and chili). It was amazing! That little kick that the chili provided was just the cherry on top.
Lastly, I really enjoyed getting free water from there! It’s an incentive I believe all restaurants should do.
I would highly recommend Simple Things to anyone in Kampot!

Have no idea why this place isn't five stars. - Edit
Great menu , everything cooked fresh, including the breads and the wraps. Good portions, flavours are on point, everything you need on the menu nutritionally, tempeh, tofu. High quality deserts. It'd be in my top two veg restaurants I've ever eaten at.

Tasty&Huge portions - Edit
Went there twice, cause the falafel plate is so good and so tasty! We tried the bowls as well - they are huge! Everything we tried, including some starters and juices was delicious. You can also play some board game or chill on their sofas in the entrance. It's also a yoga place with morning and evening classes - the vibe at Simole Things was very welcoming!

Simple Things offers a variety of vegan dishes. I had to come back a second time and probably would have come another time, if I would have had the time. The Bowls had a very good portion. Only the pasta could have been a bit more.

Wide menu, generous portions - Edit
This place has a very varied menu with lots of options. The food was delicious, particularly the tofu wrap and Dali bowl (pictured). Portions were very generous. Not as cheap as other food options but worth trying. Lady working there was very friendly. They host a weekly crafts evening on Wednesdays where you can bring your own crafts, which sounds like a nice concept!

Amazing - Edit
Great choice of vegan dishes - all clearly labeled. I had the tempeh scramble since tempeh is not so common to find. It wasn't really scrambled to be honest, but it was really good. Big portion as well and I particularly like the bread.

A pity that it's cash only since they also host a small shop with local crafts and more.

Lots of vegan options at this comfortable Vegetarian cafe! - Edit
The food is simple - and that’s okay! It is called Simple Things after all. It’s a friendly environment to sit and do some work or read a book. There were always other people there. I had a breakfast, dinner, and a snack.
Read moreExpect the portions to be huge. The tempeh scramble was yummy, I subbed potatoes (fries) for toast because I cannot have wheat, the fries were soggy. The healthy bowl was huge and yummy, I enjoyed the peanut tofu especially and the salty seasoning on the broccoli. Hummus nice too. I loved the sweet potato fries, they were properly cooked. Lime and ginger iced tea was healthy and refreshing.
The food can be improved, but I gave 4 stars for the portion sizes because it’s a good value for money.
Pros: Large portions, All veggie with labeled vegan options, Complimentary drinking water

the food was really delicious and the portions were so big! I loved how most of the items were homemade and the ingredients felt so fresh. The only issue was that there was a few things missing off the menu that i really wanted to try but I guess that’s an excuse to come back!
