Vegan version of Czech food - Edit
Small pub, with a very traditional simple aesthetic. This isn't a fancy restaurant it's a little pub.
Read moreLocal beers (from a brewery just 1km away) and vegan versions of traditional food.
We had Topinka and Nerybickova to start, followed by Gulas and Svickova.
Service, beer and food was excellent, highly recommended.
Pros: Vegan versions of traditional food, Local artisan beer, Friendly staff

Best veganised Czech dishes in Prague - Edit
This spot feels like a traditional pub, and some aspects of the menu are similarly traditional. There are a few Czech starters like topinka (fried bread with toppings), and about 4 Czech main dishes. For me, these are the best veganised Czech dishes in Prague since Moment closed down. I tried the goulash and the vypecky. The goulash was fantastic, with good meaty chunks and a really rich sauce. The vypecky was good too - not quite as rich as the goulash, but the red cabbage balanced the dish really well and made it feel a little lighter. Both were served with good dumplings. In keeping with Czech tradition, the portions were very generous. I wish I'd had room for a kremrolle, but not this time!
Read moreThe menu also includes a lot of options for loaded fries, but I only had eyes for the Czech options this time.
Service was fast and friendly, even though it was busy on a Friday evening. I'd recommend a reservation because they were turning people away. Most of the tables were quite large (seating around 8 people), so if you're in a smaller group you might have to share with strangers. It didn't feel uncomfortable or overcrowded though, and the staff were leaving space between diners as much as possible.
Please note that this place is not wheelchair accessible - there are a few steps down on entry, and I think a few steps to get to the bathrooms as well.

Soooo yummy - Edit
We had a small soup, the gulash and svickova, which was all so rich in taste. We enjoyed the layed-back atmosphere of the place. Such friendly staff, too! I think it would be the first place I‘d go back to when I‘m in Prague again.

Awesome Czech food - Edit
It was soo good and the prices are very fair as well (huge portions). Due to the location it is also not that touristy as other places in the city center.

Hidden gem in Zizkov - Edit
The pub is situated close to the popular gathering spot, Riegrovy sady. It is a smaller establishment, circa 10 tables of various sides. We did well to make a reservation because no table was left empty for long. The service is attentive, and I never feel like I bother them.
Read moreThe food is very delicious and the portion sizes are large. I loved everything I tasted there (poutine-like cheesy fries, výpečky with dumplings and cabbage , kulajda soup, kremrole), beers included.

Make it a priority to eat here - Edit
My first traditional Czech meal and hands-down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I couldn’t stop shaking my head in disbelief the whole time. The restaurant itself is underground and reminded me of a bunker and they were playing killer music the whole time. Beer was cheap and good. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Make it a priority to eat here.
Read moreEdit: Went back for a second time, and of course, it was still fantastic. Loved every song and even though I didn’t enjoy the Svíčková as much as the Vypečky, it was still very good.

All-time favourite!! - Edit
I lived in Prague for a year during my Erasmus studies and Shromaždiště was and still is my all time favourite vegan restaurant. The quantity and quality of food you get for the price is outstanding! It is a real treat to be able to try traditional food from this region of Europe but made vegan.

Very chill place, a bit out of the way. Generous portions... I ate too much, whoops. I had my mind set on the goulash which was very good, but the topinka was even tastier!
