This restaurant is also a small, cute little shop — very charming! All the staff were super friendly, even though they didn’t speak English and there was no English menu. We used Google Translate (I translated a few pages and added them to my review in case it helps others!).

That day, I felt like trying something new and ended up ordering a dish that I think was a bean? mushroom? Mochi? soup — I'm honestly still not sure 😅 (Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of that part of the menu, but there is a photo of the dish itself).
To be honest, at first I didn’t like it at all — but I think that’s because I was expecting something totally different. It turned out to be more of a sesame soup with a kind of mochi inside. But with every bite, I liked it more and more. I can't even remember the last time I tried something so new! It was savoury and sweet the same time.
My partner had a veggie fish burger, which tasted good but pretty standard — like the ones you get in most places.
We came during lunchtime, and literally everyone else around us ordered the mixed lunch box, which looked super delicious. Next time, we’ll probably go with that!

Wonderful! - Edit
Came here after visiting Tama-chan, the station master cat and was completely in love with the entire menu. I loved the fake fish and ice cream the most!

Great little cafe - Edit
I had the Soybean Katsu set meal with a green smoothie. Both were delicious and filling. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. It's relatively cheap, too.
