Committed and reliable vegan go-to in the "fake meat" tradition - Edit
This is a committed long-standing vegan eatery in Bruntsfield, easily reached from Edinburgh city centre West end, offering a selection of burgers/bowls/wraps in the new vegan/fake meat tradition. While I'm not a fan of artifical "meat" and don't really care for the taste of "Beyond Meat" burgers, if these things don't bother you, then this informal dining place with a youthful vibe (esp. in evenings) will suit well. Food is tasty and filling, rather than fancy or creative. The bowls are very good and nicely presented. Desserts don't feature large, though there are a few cakes.
Read moreStaff are friendly if often inexperienced (an issue everywhere tho'). The place is pleasant, small but airy, and quite stylish, though the layout makes positioning of tables difficult, especially for twos. Dogs are welcomed.
Overall, a reliable go-to within the city's vegan eateries - and open in the evenings which many vegan eateries aren't. With more variety in the menu, a few desserts (lack of these in traditional restaurants remains a problem), some thought given to layout, and attention to staff customer training, the standard could easily be raised.

Visited seeds for the soul for the second time and just like the first time - they were amazing. Food was unbeatable and staff were super friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. The atmosphere of the restaurant allows you to relax and enjoy your food.

On my way to Edinburgh I was really craving for something sweet, so much that I almost sinned and got myself a Mars bars. Lucky me that my moral values kicked in right in and Happy Cow brought me into the light again. That Ugandan Hot Choc saved my vegan life!!

The food was so tasty & the staff super helpful and nice. We had the falafel bowl and the nourish bowl, as well as the vegan thunder smoothie. Only the chicken sticks in the nourish bowl were a bit too salty for my taste, but everything else was just perfect.

I had brunch and in the evening my non-vegan boss suggested the place for dinner, for whole team. I LOVED both occasions, and I'm so happy that my non-vegan colleagues had great feedback about dinner here!

In the evening I had the nourish bowl, which was fresh and delicious, and my colleagues had burgers and chocolate + cherry cheesecake, and loved all of it!
