Good food, but pricy - Edit
I really enjoyed the crispy artichokes and the Tan Tan Tofu (crispy tofu on jasmin rice and roasted onions) was good as well. A bit overpriced, but you pay for the location as well. Nice outdoor seating available!

Overrated - Edit
Food was tasty, but the meal size was too small and the prices are too high for what you get.

Delicious Food - Classy Vibes - Edit
Schwein was one of the few restaurants that could accommodate our party of 6 to eat at 10pm on a Tuesday (even though the kitchen closes at 10pm).
Read moreEvery single item was absolutely delicious as they had recently rotated to their summer menu. We also enjoyed their unique presentation of each dish and the tisanes herbal tea.
We came hungry and left pampered. Would 100% recommend Schwein to other vegetarian travelers in Vienna.
Pros: Ample vegetarian options, Cozy lighting and ambiance , Friendly staff
Cons: Only one restroom for the entire restaurant, May occasionally be seated with other parties, Located slightly outside city center

Nice dining experience - Edit
Is it a bit pricey and are the portions on the smaller side? Yes but that’s the point. This is not a fast food place. It’s a dining experience and as such we were completely fine with the portion size. We had the smoked eggplant and bao bun as starters and cauliflower steak as main and a dessert. Nice and elaborate flavor profiles, maybe a bit excessive when it came to the amount of parsley on the steak but overall delicious. The dessert really stood out though.

Cons: Maybe not as posh as they present themselves

Great vegan brunch place - Edit
Had a lovely brunch there! Beautiful ambience, extremely friendly waitress and great, high quality food. The Milchrahmstrudel is definitely the best dessert! 😍

Lots of vegan options, but... - Edit
I went in to try the vegan Ruben but it wasn't available that day, so I got the cauliflower steak instead. The dish was tasty, but really not satisfying as a main course... basically a slab of cauliflower on top of cauliflower cream, with no sides. Many other dishes on the menu seemed to follow a similar concept... you'd probably need to order several dishes for it to feel like an actual meal.
Read moreDessert, on the other hand – all three desserts on the menu are vegan and I got the semolina cake with vanilla cream and raspberries. This was possibly the best dessert I had in Vienna, and that's saying a lot.
Service is very friendly and the place is very pleasant, with a high-end feel.

Very tasty, a bit overpriced - Edit
Great spot for a date and sharing different dishes, but the mains are not really enough to get full. We looved the fried artichoke. The baos were disappointing, dry and missing some flavor balance. Ambiance is beautiful.
