We ate too fast for pictures. - Edit
On the last day of our trip we wanted breakfast and we were at 25 hrs hotel around the corner. And so HappyCow led us here. Previous reviews mention some difficulty with English speaking but we had zero issue and ordered a borek, poppyseed filled bear claw and cinnamon bun, as well as a cappuccino. It could not have been better. Here is one picture of the courtyard you go through from the side on the street of our hotel.

Pros: Cost, Taste, Execution
Cons: My boyfriend wanted a smoothie 🙄, That’s really it, Not everyone needs to make a smoothie

Excellent little bakery - Edit
It is a bit hard to find, as you need to walk through doors which are unrelated to this bakery, but worth it.

Don’t Arrive Too Late - Edit
I tried out this cute little bakery while I was in Vienna. Unfortunately I came shortly before they were closing, so they didn’t have a lot of pastries left to try.
Read moreI went for what was still available and it was good. I didn’t get the chance to try the things everybody’s recommending (like the nougat croissant) so I’ll be back the next time I’m in town, and I’ll try to learn from my mistakes and go there in the morning. I’d recommend you to do the same!

Try the pide - Edit
Great vibe here and you can see them preparing and baking bread in the shop. We arrived at 11.15 and most things had gone but what we had was tasty. The pide was excellent. The croissant wasn’t bad. Don’t expect flaky croissants, they’re more bready. There is a small seating area outside and it’s a nice relaxed vegan-style vibe which we really liked.

Nice bread and peaceful place - Edit
We arrived a little late and the options were not so many to do breakfast. However everything was good and well prepared! To take away bread I think is one of the best options in town.

Cute vegan bakery - Edit
The bakery is small and they also bake right next to the counter. In addition to vegan breads and sweets, there is also pizza. There is a small, quiet terrace with seating in front of the bakery.

Not many choices - Edit
This place is a bit hard to find and when I finally got there, there were not many pastries to choose from... I don't know if it's always like this or if it was an off day, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip to come here.

The best and cutest bakery in Vienna - Edit
This all vegan artisan bakery is tucked away in a charming alley next to a busy street in Vienna. One second you're walking on the pavement with cars racing by left, front and center. The next second you find yourself in an oasis of peace and calm drinking delicious coffee with the most amazing local vegan pastries.
Read moreWe shared three different pastries because they all looked so delicious. They were exactly as delicious as we expected them to be, if not even more so. While it might not be of the same quality of a French bakery, for me it was actually equally as good in its own right. All of the pastries were soft on the inside and somewhat crispy on the outside. The croissant was filled with a chocolate and hazelnut filling which was great. One was filled with what seemed to be an almond filling and the other one I'm not even sure what it was exactly, but it was very good. I was a little disappointed that we only came here on our last day in Vienna. Would have loved to come here more often and also try some of their savory stuff. The pizza looked great and the breads also looked really good.
Oh and by the way, while the guy who was working probably isn't the best barista, he still made me a decent cappucino. They use delicious coffee beans. He also didn't speak any English whatsoever, but I found that to be quite charming. He still tried his very best to help us and to understand my basic German. Paid €17,50 for 3 pastries, a cappucino and a lemonade. Hard to beat in both price and quality in Vienna. This place is absolutely worth visiting.
Pros: Wonderful pastries , Good coffee, Cool artisan bakery and all vegan

Lovely vegan bakery - Edit
This bakery is hidden in a cozy alley. The baker didn't speak English but was very helpful. You can order hot drinks and they have a cooling with cold drinks. We came in the afternoon, luckily there were some pastries left. We tried three different pastries. They were all very delicious and the puff pastry was flaky and layered. The small terrace is very nice, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. I wish I had come earlier during my visit to Vienna, So I could have tried even more vegan goodies!
