Cheap, Cheerful and Filling - Edit
I've been a regular here for a few months now for my lunch and I have to say, for 130KC it's amazing. Filled plate, flavoured waters and a chatty friendly owner. You can add soup and/or salad to your dish for extra. The flavours are always great and the choices varied.

We all love uncle Sandokan - Edit
Sandokan is a nice and funny guy, who has travelled to oriental countries a lot. And he has teched how to cook there. Now he runs that cosy indian cusine bistro. The food is fresh, well made and very very tasty, mabe best this style in Prague. But it is not expensive at all. The place is also fundamental for local comunity, we meet there various people all around.

Sandokan offers a nice buffet with extremely tasty food which is great value for money (you pay by plate). The owner is super nice. Should I be in Prague again I'd absolutely make sure to come back.

[Castellano abajo] The food is really tasty, and inexpensive! We really love Indian food, and this place didn't disappointed us at all! They also had free infused water, and the staff was so nice :). The only downside is that we don't live in Prague :P I wish we had a Sandokan Vegan Bistro in Barcelona! ❤️ || En este sitio, te sirves tú misma. Pagas el precio del plato, que son 120 coronas checas (algo menos de 5 euros), y puedes llenar el plato cuanto quieras (una vez) 😋. La comida estaba super RICA. Además, el staff es super agradable. ¡Ah! Y tienen aguas infusionadas (con naranja o con menta), y puedes beber gratis todo lo que quieras. Totalmente recomendado ❤️.

This is paid per plate and then you can load it up and not per weight, thus you know how much you will pay the moment you walk in. Other bistros are tricky about the portions/weight.

I'm in my third week of living in Prague and I have made a hobby out of visiting different vegan restaurants. So I believe I have a frame of reference. This is the best vegan food in town. It is casual buffet style very reasonable and it is almost all whole foods with very little pretend processed food items. Nothing was over salted and everything tasted fresh. It is not all you can eat so pile your head your plate high the first time!

In this bistro you can get one plate for 110 czk and you can put everything there :) For me as I choose small portions it is disadvantage but "normal" people will enjoy this style. The food is indian, sometimes spicy (staff will tell you which one) and very delicious. I had rice and beans and chickpeas in indian style - with cilatro which you can also have as much as you can!

Delicious food and friendly staff. In our four day trip, my boyfriend and I visited this place twice because it was so tasty and great atmosphere. Everything was vegan, amazing flavours, dahl, spicy as well as simpler dishes, salad, rice, tofu, lentils, roasted potato, soup, lots of veg. The guy serving was great; he was so helpful, he explained what was in all the dishes, very relaxed. Also very cheap!! Nice decor, simple, clean, plants everywhere. No complaints whatsoever.
