Expensive, less space

Food is tasty, about 7.5/10 and many dishes to choose
Tables are often full, a little bit cramped
With an expensive price i think this restaurant should be improved

Good choice near city center

I was in Ho Chi Minh City for 3 days I came here on a super hot day. The food was served hot, good price but a little bit too sweet for me

Great food - it all looked good so we accidentally overordered

My Vietnamese colleague recommended this place a short walk from the office. Unassuming little restaurant with several floors that had a huge menu (too big some would say) and it all looked good. We ordered a range of things and ended up taking some home as between the five of us we couldn't finish it. Definitely recommend.

Cute vegetarian restaurant

Went here for breakfast. The wonton soup was great. Same for the pineapple juice and orange juice!

Really great food

We had to come back here for a second time because I just had to eat the sweet and sour tofu dish again, it was incredible! The sour soup was also amazing. Just make sure you tell the staff no egg because they don’t understand what vegan means.

Best meal in hcmc = curry marinated gluten

Not the cheapest, but the curry-marinated gluten was delicious. Best meal so far in hcmc, but relatively expensive.

Pros: Great quality, nice restaurant

Cons: Quite expensive, staff have limited English

lovely place

This is a really lovely place for eating. The food here is really amazing with a good choice. The prices are all ok for this level of quality... Around 70k - 100k pr dish.

wasabi lettuce rolls recommended

I personally don’t really like much the vegan Vietnamese cuisine food so I hardly go back to some of those restaurants twice or more but San May has some nice vegan dishes that are worth to try out such as their wasabi lettuce rolls. I know many places also have this dish but theirs is definitely yum and stand out. Besides, the space here is big and pretty nice. Price range is average. To foreigners and travelers from other countries, I think the price is reasonable but for sure higher than those Vietnamese cơm chay as you’re Vietnamese

Pros: in the heart area of Saigon , free parking

Cons: not fully vegan, only Vietnamese cuisine, not very good English speaking staffs

Tasty and Relaxing

Loved the wasabi lettuce rolls, and the mushroom peanut salad! Nice, calming, interior with garden view. Lovely presentation, and quality preparation.

Quiet and peaceful in the heart of D1

We enjoyed a meal here on a Sunday night, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed the staff were discreet and attentive. There is a mural painted on the main wall which adds to the air of calm, as do comfy lounge chairs at the dining tables.

We selected 6 dishes, mustard leaf rolls, vegetable rolls, braised tofu and mushroom, lemongrass tofu, sautéed morning glory and a peanut and tofu salad.

The texture of the tofu was a highlight, airy and light. We also enjoyed the mustard rolls and the peanut and tofu salad. We ordered a salty/sweet lemon soda and a salted plum soda, both delicious.

We ordered enough to bring home to eat the following day. Really enjoyed the things we took home too.

Pros: quiet, calm setting, friendly, discreet service, great spot to enjoy quiet in the heart of D1

Cons: flavours could be more complex, a little more on the pricey side for the quality

A hidden place for those who love quietness

Went there on a rainy day with my husband and we were impressed with their zen setting - which made us feel cozy. As a Vietnamese, the food list is very satisfactory for me and yes my husband loves it too. Food taste is great. I have a non-veg friend who also loves and highly recommends this place too. Will come back :)

Pros: Location, Setting

Cons: Can't think of one.

large menu, healthy and tasty

I've been here many times and it has been consistently good. There is a mountain of food to choose from. A real comfortable atmosphere, nice couches and chairss, dinky midi renditions of western pop songs play on repeat. The service is good. Floor staff are attentive and always refill table water/iced tea. mains are typically between 49,000 - 79,000 VND. Hot pots are about 130,000 - 250,000.

The menu's a mix of Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese and Western cuisine and despite the large menu, everything I've had there has been delightful.

They also have a really good value for money breakfast combo (59,000)

Pros: variety, delicious, seating, atmosphere
