Lots of options from different cuisines of the world. Bit pricey but it's in a prime spot with outside seating so to be expected. We had authentic guacamole and French onion soup. Both very tasty.

Salvei is so consistently amazing across the board. Service is wonderful and the food is just incredible. We have eaten almost everything on the menu at some point and it is all fantastic. You can’t go wrong here! Arguably the best vegan restaurant in town in my opinion.

Excellent food and variety. Pasta bolognese is a must try. Amazing sauce! Their burgers are very flavorful, and falafel pita also very good. Great service and very friendly.

We ate at Salvei twice, both dinner, we sat outside on the cute terrace and watched a band at the bar oppresite and the other indoors as was too hot outside and both times the food was very nice... Very hot, fresh, food portion sizes. Also, they had wine! I mention wine as at least 3 of the other vegan restaurants we went to didn't and we sadly hadn't realised before ordering.... Lunch great no wine but holiday dinner I need a wine! Highly rec a visit.

If I did not leave a review, it would be criminal. The service was wonderful. The food was well played it. The ceviche was shockingly appetizing to the point that I was almost embarrassed due to the greediness that peeked out of me. Honestly, I wanted to order another. I did not, and that was a good thing because the risotto dish needed the rest of my time and attention. What can I say about this dish other than “words will not do it justice?” You absolutely must try this dish especially if you do not have hangups with any of the ingredients. if you do, then… qué lástima para ti porque esta comida fue impecable.

We had a wonderful dinner at Salvei, we were made to feel very welcome. We had the rainbow sushi roll, Vietnamese summer rolls, pizza rolls, risotto, and creamy pasta, and apple pie. And they were all freshly prepared and delicious. Plus, their cocktails were great too. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen - you won’t regret it!

You must try the mole chilaquiles - Edit
They combined two dishes in one. Mole and chilaquiles, the taste was really good, the only thing I was missing in this dish was a sort of protein, or mushrooms, to have a different consistency besides the chips, onions and avocado slices. But the taste was on point.

And, for desert I got an apple pie, they did tell me it wasn’t that sweet, but it just needed a little bit more of sweetness. Just a tiny bit.
Overall I’ll definitely come back to try other dishes.
