Three restaurants in one! - Edit
Lovely and large lunch buffet for only 12 euros; afternoon tea room with vegan cookies and biscuits; evening lounge/coffee bar with traditional style free appetizers done with a modern approach. Decorated with classic, rare rock album covers on a shelf around the middle of the restaurant. Fun! Impressive ruins of Hadrian's Temple are directly in front of Soletto 42 in Piazza Pieta. Near Trevi Fountain.

stylish swedish hospitality in Roma - Edit
This is a lovely bar/cafe- known as a bookbar- has the look and feel of an uber cool bar. Sit on stylish and comfy seating looking out at the ancient Piazza di Pietra. I verge on being vegan, I'm a veggie with a milk allergy so finding somewhere that offers more wholesome food than pizza or pasta can be difficult in Italy. The Swedish owner talked me through the buffet lunch menu of soup, salad, hot and cold dishes, fruit juice and cake all for 15 euros. I was travelling with two meat eaters and they were able to include the meat options too. Good food, amazing atmosphere and the coolest of designs, plus a sparkling clean loo make this a must for vegan/vegetarians in Rome.
