El trato y la amabilidad fueron increíbles es uno de estos sitios pequeños con encanto que cuesta encontrar pero que cuando lo haces te alegras por ello aparte de todo ello es bastante barato la comida estuvo muy rica sobretodo el caril de legimes es una pena que no esté más céntrico para poder ir más veces

Daily menu with choice of starters, mains, set menus or mix of 2 mains. I opted for the mix of 2 and portion was huge. Barely finished it but it was delicious and great value at around 10 euros! The owner is also really friendly.

Désolé mais j’ai regretté mon déplacement si loin pour être surprise par le manque de propreté . Le plat que j’ai commandé ,dont les frites était à moite crus, le jus frais avait plus d’eau que de fruits. Et quand j’ai vue la saleté de la vitrine réfrigérée. Le sol , les vitres etc.

Small restaurant with super friendly staff. The majority of the clients are locals. Delicious food, all vegetarian or vegan. Great prices. I had the rice with chickpeas and tofu.

Sabor superior is a small restaurant in Algés offering homemade food for a very reasonable price.
Read moreThe restaurant is located in a quiet street close to Algés bus station and offers a daily dish and soup in addition to a small variety of snacks (sort of like a vegan version of the portuguese salgados).
The food was filling and tasty and the portions were quite large. In addition, they also offer the possibility of buying frozen salgados to then cook at home.
All in all it is a nice restaurant in an area without a lot of vegan options, so a very recommendable visit if you are around.

Honest place with homemade dishes, snacks and desserts. The prices are low and the staff really nice. We tried 3 kinds of snacks and the two daily main dishes and desserts. Everything was tasty and well served. You can also buy frozen snacks to take away like burgers, samosas, empanadas…

A small casual restaurant a little bit away from main tourist attractions. Cafeteria vibes. Diners seemed mostly local and the day's menu was written on a chalkboard in Portuguese. The friendly waiter explained the dishes to us in English. The food was all very good. Very large portions. Only accepts cash and Portuguese credit cards.

We got two small savory things for appetizers, both were very tasty. We shared the entrees: chili with rice, and seitan in gravy with quinoa. The seitan was really good. The chili was good as well, but lacking in much flavor. Food tends to be underseasoned in Portugal (I live here), so the chili really needed some more kick. We also shared a piece of chocolate cake, which was surprisingly soft, moist and delicious with chocolate sauce pooled around it. The service was friendly. All of that (no drinks) was 28 euros.
