Chef Matthias from Germany worked at various bakeries in Europe, including as head baker and recipe developer for Frea Bakery in Berlin. Sells cornetto / croissant with jam or cream, shokupan, cinnamon roll, cardamom bun, and more. Open Thu-Fri 9:00am-4:00pm, Sat-Sun 8:00am-3:00pm. Closed Mon-Tue.

The levels to this flavour profile was remarkable! Loved the kesum pesto complementing the lion's mane berempah! Looking forward to more collabs in the future! Kudos to Matt for his consistent bakes and Schira Hassan for this wonderful concept!
Tofu sandwich was tasty and light. Shokupan bread gave a subtle sweetness to it!
Berry Slice was lovely not to sweet with butter like crust!

Six of us came and had sandwiches, buns and pizzas. Wow. I had a cashew cream donut. The nicest donut I’ve ever had. All the food was superb. Lovely fella who owns the place also. Highly highly recommended. Don’t cone to Singapore without trying this place. It’s quite small but the food is top notch

After travelling for 8 months outside of Europe, I was beyond excited to find this place. I had a patate pizza and almond croissant, they were very good, this place has very high standards and good food quality. Seems that a lot of locals also order baked goods, but you can walk in and there will be plenty for you to eat.

I come here every 1-2 weeks. My usual order is a pizza slice and a cream croissant. I love their bread and their egg sandwiches (whenever they're in stock!)!

I picked up a sourdough loaf and a pizza slice and a cardamom bun. All it’s amazing quality. Me expectations were surpassed upon trying the cardamom bun — haven’t managed to find a decent vega one before.

I visited on 22nd November and they are back open! Current opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday 9-2. Active on their Instagram. I had a croissant and a cinnamon bun and both great. No sit in space; takeaway only.

I was impressed by their pastry, especially the croissant, it wasn’t dry or too oily, just perfect! Oat milk coffee is also good, so silky and smooth, but they don’t have the ice coffee options, which could be useful during this hot weather.

The croissants here are so flakey and delicious. The pistachio filling was super creamy, it could have had a stronger pistachio flavour but maybe that’s personal preference. The olive focaccia was divine.

The pistachio-filled croissant and cinnamon roll were nice, but not amazing. The focaccias were not as soft as I'm used to but still had a nice texture and were very tasty - perhaps a bit too salty though. The owner was very friendly and it seems like it's filling a vegan bakery gap in Singapore!

treats are excellent and the owner is friendly. my favorites so far: cream filled croissant, cardamom bun, and those super crunchy crackers. i'll be back to try the pizza and other items. don't forget to bring a reusable container!

Fully vegan bakery newly opened on 31st Jul 2024! Previously operating as a home-based business launched in Apr 2024, it received great response and a physical store was born. The friendly Chef Matthias from Germany used to work at various bakeries in Europe, including as head baker and recipe developer for Frea Bakery in Berlin. The bakes at Rya Bakehouse feature sourdough, ranging from flaky croissants filled with jam or cream, cardamom buns to pull apart, pain au chocolat, cinnamon rolls, whole loaves, and more. On 24th Aug 2024, savoury items such as pizza slices topped with eggplant, potato, and mushrooms were also introduced. Bought a bunch of freshly baked items which I thoroughly enjoyed! Looking forward to returning and trying out more pastries. Do note that there aren’t really seats for dining-in as it’s more of a takeaway concept, except for a small 2-seater table outdoors. Walking distance from Lavender or Bendemeer MRT; also near several other veg*n eateries such as Nature Cafe at Aperia Mall, Vegan Natural Bakery at ARC380, New Fut Kai, etc. Btw although there is now a brick and mortar store, the online store is still up and running, and Foresque Residences, 101 Petir Rd, S678272 in Bukit Panjang is still available as a pick-up location.

Almost missed this place as it was tucked away in the corner but glad I found it!

The croissants were very airy but also crisp on the outside, best croissants I ever had! So hard to find vegan croissants. The cinnamon rolls were not too sweet, but the bread is soft and not dense.
Overall, I would recommend 10/10.
