Excellent curries, long waits at peak times - Edit
Being in Yokohama station means that, like the other station restaurants, there can be quite the queue for tables. We tried to go for lunch on a Sunday and were told it would be at least 30 minutes' wait. However, at 5:30pm on a weekday it was almost empty, so pick your time if you're not keen to wait!
Read moreThe at-table tablet ordering system is easy, and there are lots of customisations to choose from. We had the Japanese curry with roasted veg, and the curry with roasted onion and cheese. The cheese is a sort of vegan fondue that comes melted in a separate jug for you to pour on, and is very tasty. The curry itself is pleasant, though perhaps a little too much of one thing if you don't order vegetables to go in it. Five stars for offering an extensive and well-prepared plant-based menu in Yokohama, though!

Good amount of veggies and great flavours - Edit
It is in the basement area of the shopping centre next to Yokahama station (West exit). The staff will provide an English menu and switch the order screen to English.
Read moreWe got curry sets with roast vegetables, and they were served very quickly. The salad and curries were delicious, as was the mango lassi, tofu, and the caramel ice cream (which had smokey coffee vibes).

Great curry options - Edit
We came here for a late lunch after a morning out and about in Yokohama and really enjoyed our meal.
Read moreWe got three mains: spice curry with katsu tofu, spice curry with vegetables and a Japanese curry with katsu tofu. The spice curry was well seasoned and felt quite similar to other Japanese curries I have tasted and tried to make myself. The Japanese curry was similar but a bit spicier. The katsu tofu was excellent and the vegetable selection was quite varied in the vegetable curry. The little side salad that came on the plate was well dressed too.
I got a ginger ale to drink which was perfectly pleasant and my partner got an iced chai which she really enjoyed, it had quite a strong cinnamon taste too.
It's not the easiest place to find initially but once you actually get yourself into the basement floor in the food court area it's pretty easy to get to.

Great Curry - Edit
As mentioned by others, this one was hard to find. I followed the West gate exit from which you have to take the escalator/stairs up to the first floor. Instead of exiting the station, you turn left where you'll enter the JOINUS mall. Find the stairs to the right that will take you to restaurants located at B1F. From there, go right until you see passage with restaurants left and right of you. Follow it and you should find this restaurant to your left.
Read moreWe ordered two sets of Spinach Curry with various toppings and were happy overall. The salad, especially with the dressing, was super tasty and the tonkatsu tofu was the best I've had. The curry was good but didn't blow me away. This was the first time I tried a soy yoghurt lassi and I loved it. The ice cream at the end was okay-ish - we picked the caramel nut one and it tasted slightly bitter, perhaps the caramel burned.
Rating: 5/5 Overall really good

Great Tofu Katsu Curry - Edit
Everything was fantastic, from the salad to the tofu katsu curry. I tried the spinach curry, which tasted great but was lacking in spice (the menu said it was medium). Luckily, there was "hot spice" on the table that really kicked it up a notch. Just a heads up, you need to order the meal set, which includes a drink, salad, and dessert, and the tofu katsu is an extra. The restaurant can be a little hard to find since it's in the basement of the shopping center at Yokohama station. The staff were super friendly and had English menus available. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in the Yokohama area.

Awesome! - Edit
This was a busy restaurant in the basement floor of the mall attached to Yokohama station. I had to walk around a while to find it because this mall is massive and I couldn’t find it listed in any of the mall maps. GPS on my phone actually worked in the basement and that was the easiest way for me to find it.
Read moreThe food was awesome and you can specify how much rice you want in your curry. And they have brown rice! And real vegetables! Not just ultra-processed food.

Fabulous curries - Edit
Came here for lunch. The person put the tablet in English for us. I had roasted veggies with 2 curries. It was a tomato one and a spinach curry. I particularly loved the spinach curry but both were delicious. I also had tofu karrage as a topping which was amazing. The iced soy chai was amazing too. My partner enjoyed the tomato curry with eggplant. You could pick toppings, rice serving size and any extras.

Great lunch! - Edit
After searching for a short time, we quickly found the restaurant. Luckily it didn’t have a queue for lunch and we were quickly seated. Once we got the English menu, we were able to figure our lunch: got the power bowl with extra tofu katsu and the Tomato Curry with extra tofu katsu as a Set. The set came with a salad and ice cream. Everything was very tasty, we liked to finally eat some vegetables again.

Delicious Curries - Edit
My Girlfriend and I had some dinner here after shopping in Yokohama. It’s hard to find but don’t give up! The food was worth it 😋 we both ordered Curry based dishes and added our own sides, finished up with Matcha Ice Cream. You can order on the screens on the table, it’s easy to do. Or the waiter can serve you. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

Several types of curry and mango lassi - Edit
Good food and a convenient location. A bit expensive for the size (the mango lassi was very small), and the tofu scramble didn’t have much flavor. But the curry was tasty and the matcha ice cream was nice. A nice place if you’re in the area

Delicious food in an impossible to find restaurant! - Edit
So, first off, don't try to navigate to this place inside Yokohama Station. I'm not exactly sure what building it's located in, but it is NOT in the station. It's connected to the station, but you'll never find it from the inside.
Read moreWe were able to get pretty close to it, I think in the building that it's in, but no idea what floor or where on that floor it was located. Luckily, we looked lost enough that a very kind Japanese woman who spoke English TOOK US TO IT! We had to go down two flights (stairs/escalators) to the food court and she offered to ask if they had an English menu when we arrived. Japanese people are AWESOME!!!
As can be seen from my pics, they have an English menu. We decided on the Combo curry and we made it a set, which included ice cream and a salad. The salad was delicious! All the vegetables were fresh and the dressing was divine! We quickly downed the salad and we were waiting for the curry when another set of salads appeared. I guess we looked hungry! We let them know we had already had our salad, so they took them back and apologized for the misunderstanding.
The curry arrived and again, DELICIOUS! The vegetables were perfectly cooked, not too soft, not too hard, and both of the curries were super tasty! We finished with ice cream and I was surprised at how much like ice cream it really was. Obviously no dairy as the restaurant is completely vegan, but it was very creamy.
I'd definitely make a repeat appearance here, if I can find it again! Highly recommended!
Pros: Delicious food!, All vegan! Ice cream is AWESOME!
Cons: Difficult to find, at least for a visitor!, Small quarters, but I think that's pretty standard

Best vegan curry in Japan! - Edit
We love coming to this cafe. There are so many delicious options, including creamy tomato, spicy curry, spinach curry, and Japanese curry with white or brown rice. Then you can goose toppings, including roasted onion, roasted vegetables, roasted eggplant, vegan egg, vegan catsu, and more. Their ice cream is quite good, too. Vanilla or caramel ice cream, and lemon sorbet. Everything is delicious! Can’t wait to return!! 😋 (in basement in JOINUS Dining)
