Loved it - Edit
I visited on my birthday. Much of the city was closed for a holiday, but luckily Reed was open. We had a wonderful meal, and so did our children. The service was quick and friendly. It looked nice inside, but because of the heatwave, we sat outside where there was shade and a bit of a breeze. The downside was the heavy traffic, especially buses. I would definitely eat here again.

The food is delicious!! Highly recommend - Edit
If you’re in Luxembourg I highly recommend visiting Reed vegan restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, so so tasty. We had the traditional Luxembourg dish which was vegan chicken and mushroom pie and it was the best!! Desserts were delicious! Staff are very nice, a special mention to Linda who was so lovely and polite! 🥰

Very good food and fully vegan - Edit
We had gyoza as a starter, I had a pastiche or something (the local dish with mushroom), gf had a Caesar salad, and I had a lava cake afterwards. It's not fancy, but what they serve is very good. Friendly staff too.

Definitely go here! - Edit
My spouse and I went here on our last day in Luxembourg. Since we had to catch a flight in the morning we were there early for dinner and the restaurant was pretty empty. All the food was delicious and came out quickly. Our server was friendly and helpful, and he took our order at the table (he said he preferred it over the QR code). Definitely add this to your itinerary if you’re a vegan in Luxembourg!

One of my local friends took me here and I ended up going again by myself on another occasion. I got the same burger both times and it was great. Cozy spot and easily accessible by foot.

Too little too pricy - Edit
Overrated restaurant in my opinion. The food was okay (loved the homehade fries tough), but far too little servings for the price (the boulettes for example we‘re two tiny balls, that‘s all). Also ordering via website didn‘t work properly; we couldn‘t order sides for one dish.

We're sorry you weren't satisfied with your experience at our restaurant.
Read moreFor your information, the meatballs weigh 115 grams each, which is more than reasonable. Regarding prices, please note that everything is homemade, and we're open continuously from noon until 10 p.m., even on Sundays. And yet, we're still below the prices of some Luxembourg restaurants that only open at lunchtime.

Cozy little place - Edit
I went today with my husband. The food took a very long time to arrive (not a problem if you are not in a rush), I chose a local dish and it was a bit cold. My husband loved his burger.
Read moreMy only complaint is that I didn't find the food memorable. It was ok.
But, given that there are not many 100% vegan places here, it's a good option.

OK but could be better - Edit
We visited Reed for dinner last night. As ever, it's always nice to find somewhere that is 100% vegan.
Read moreThe menu was more imaginative that some other vegan places. It does feature the inevitable veggie burgers but adds less commonly seen items including some veganised versions of local dishes. Sadly, there's no paper menu so you'll have to scan a QR code and do lots of swiping & clicking to find what you're looking for. Maybe I'm a dinosaur or something, but this always bugs me!
I ordered the currywurst while my wife went for the meatballs. We both felt that the food was OK but wasn't anything special. My currywurst certainly didn't hit the spot in quite the same way as the one I sampled in Berlin recently!
Prices are reasonable for Luxemburg. We spent €32 between two of us but only drank tap water. Add on another €10 if you have a beer each.
Pros: 100% vegan, Imaginative menu choices
Cons: No paper menu
ReedRestaurant
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback 😊
Read moreWe're really glad you appreciated the creativity of our menu – especially our efforts to reinvent local dishes in a fully vegan way! We’re always trying to offer something a bit different from the usual, so it’s great to hear that came through.
That said, we totally get your point about the digital menu – it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and you're definitely not a dinosaur for preferring a paper version 😅 We’ll take that on board and see how we can improve the experience for all preferences.
We're sorry to hear the currywurst didn’t quite live up to your Berlin memory – that's a tough act to follow! Still, we hope you'll give us another shot sometime and maybe try one of our more unique creations.
Thanks again for visiting and for supporting plant-based dining in Luxembourg 🌱

Update : I went back today and took the « Boulettes à la liégeoise » because I had once them that seemed to be uncooked so I wanted to give it another try and I’ve been very happy to notice they were excellent !! I can now recommend them ( btw they changed the recipe to make them gluten free ).
Read moreRegarding the service and the greasy smell that was before unpleasant, both have been considered and got better :D
We tried the restaurant "Reed" and in my opinion It wasn’t that good…
Even though the food tasted good, my durum was too greasy and full of crispy onions.
For the desert their was two available options -> Berry cheesecake or Lava cake.
The desert was the best part, I liked it !
Unfortunately we had an unpleasant service and the greasy smell of the restaurant stayed on our clothes for a long time…

On reviendra certainement !

One of our local friends recommended to visit Reed while in Luxembourg and we did not regret it. I got the local ragout/vol-au-vent/bouchée à la reine. If you go there try their Reed sauce it is so good and you cannot try it elsewhere

Pretty darn good - Edit
Had the Bouchée à la Reine (Paschtéit) which is a pastry cup topped with a ton of mushroom gravy and soy chunks (comes with salad and fries or rice), a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie with raisins (weirdly tasted more like a chocolate chip than an oatmeal raisin), a hot chocolate which comes sugarless, and a sparkling water. I was weirdly enough filled up before I was able to finish the paschtéit (think of it as a minimalistic pot pie, aka a pot pie’s fanatic gravy fever dream) which says something coming from an American. Overall very yummy.
