They went from raw herbs to unraw/dead herbs :( - Edit
They heated the herbs without informing and so the herbs don't work anymore. I'm not talking about the very few exceptions who are beneficial to heat up, they heated all of them as far as I know, go see for yourself.
Read moreI lost trust, look at the name of the company, and the herbs are now no longer with lifeforce :(
I noticed it afterwards, it came like a deception, a waste of energy, money plus the deception of them not informing properly such an opposite change for the folks who do it raw. The company doesn't live up to it anymore, as of now, although that could be changed..
I believe they could introduce raw herbs if they just stand up for providing the raw herbs again.
Thanks you.
I'll have to look elsewhere now
Good day folks!

All the nuts! - Edit
My inner squirrel takes over every time I set foot in this store. Gotta hoard ALL THE NUTS!😄They have all kinds of stuff that is hard to come by in regular stores, from protein powders to essential oils. Everything is organic and thus pricey, but there is always loads of stuff on sale.

Cons: Impossible to resist impulse-buying new things :)

Nice organic store - Edit
Be aware, if you expect a regular store/supermarket/vegan shop, you might get disappointed of RawFoodShop.
Read moreBut if you look for a store with a lot of vegan, raw, and organic speciality products, RawFoodShop is the place to go! You can expect a huge selection of nuts, dried fruit, rice, spices, powders and chocolate (not all of it raw), also kinds that you won't see in a regular supermarket.
And don't worry: If you. like me, not follows a raw food diet, this store offers a lot of interesting stuff for you too, since their huge selection of special products could wake the interest of most people.
Their prices seems to be a bit expensive. But they often offers a nice discount on most of their products: When I visited, I get 50-60 % discount on their own brand (which is most of their store). However, they seems to have discounted periods more than regular, non-discounted periods, which could seem a little, odd...
They also have a webshop, both a Swedish and a Danish branch. So if you live en Sweden og Denmark, you can order online too.

Ok, but not great by any means - Edit
Whenever travelling by interrail, about a couple of times a year, I would always drop by this place on my way to or from Stockholm. Not anymore though, for a number of reasons: first and foremost, Reco does not longer accept my cash, not even if given the exact amount. Secondly, I have long suspected that those super discounted prices seemed too good a deal to be true; indeed, I recently compared them to those of similar shops, and found out Reco's "discounted" prices to be just about the same as what their competitors would have as regular, undiscounted ones. Very fishy to me.
Read moreTo be fair, they do have an extremely wide range of products (albeit in unnecessarily large packaging), but quite a few of them I've hardly heard of, and don't have a clue what to do with. While I see myself as an open-minded person and want to broaden my horizons, I also get the feeling that yet another exotic berry or "super" food may not exactly be what westerners need in terms of food.
I would also like to point out that, in addition to the official organic labeling, they often have their own "fair direct trade" sort of logo, which might not be quite as reliable, for reasons stated above.

A shop with everything from raw chocolate to dried jackfruit and b12-supplement. I always come back here to stock up on seeds, spirulina or other things that you usually can't find at your closest supermarket.

Great! - Edit
In overall I love this shop as either I can find something new for vegan/raw food or always get what I am looking for. The people who work there are helpful and knowledge as well.
Read moreI enjoyed when there was a cafe, it gave a bit of more cozy atmosphere, as without it, it feels a little bit like visit a pharmacy, but as it is a shop after all, it is not so important. Important is that I can always find the products I am looking for!
Pros: Wide range of products

Interesting health food store - Edit
This is a really clean and well organised shop stocking speciality products. They stock good fresh organic fruits and vegetables and have a range of quality own labelled nuts, dried fruits and other health food goods (both raw and non raw.
Read moreThey have a range of home made raw food treats that look tasty and delicious.
Unfortunately there is a sign saying that photography is not allowed in the store (which felt a bit unnecessary to me), so I can't show any photos of what's available inside. It was a perfect place for us to stock up on vegan chocolate, tahini, veggies for our trip here this weekend.
Pros: raw vegan foods available, clean
Cons: a bit too clinical perhaps
