Large organic supermarket with an organic bistro and a health store in the basement. Stocks fresh and regional vegetables in addition to beverages and food products. The bistro serves usually 2 lunch meals from 11am-3pm every day. Once per week, there is one meat meal. Open Mon-Fri 8:30am-7:00pm, Sat 8:00am-5:00pm.

Very large store, very fresh produce and even sprouts, mostly vegan items on all categories of products, a great store in the basement for body and higiene products and a bar area with hot meals.

Great vegan assortment - Edit
One of the nicest (if not THE nicest) health food stores I have been to. There's a big assortment of vegan products and they are clearly labeled with a green tag. There's a small bistro serving vegan pies and sandwiches too. Love this place!

Der Rägeboge hat eine beachtliche Auswahl an Gerichten, vor allem Suppen, Wähen und Sandwiches. Preis etwas auf der teureren Seite, dafür gut gemacht. Für meine grosse Suppe habe ich 12 Franken bezahlt, dazu gab es ein sehr kleines Brötchen.

Rägebogä, is NOT all Vegan but they have alot lf vegan options, and the vegan options they have are great. My school is in Winterthur so I often stop there by lunch or after school to grab something. They have deilicous vegan Foccacia, and Chocolate Croissants. It's deffintly worth checking this shop out.

This store has an excellent system for marking vegan items: The prices are on green labels. Much better than most competitors. The selection is extensive, too, and a bistro is part of the store. Highly recommended.

Read moreConcerning their bistro, they always have a few vegan sandwich options (the falafel sandwich is truly delicious!!) and a daily vegan soup. You can also have soy milk with every drink.
Only thing they could start implementing is the plastic wrapping around their sandwiches ;)
I also really appreciate that they offer basic foods (such as pasta, rice, etc) without packaging, so you can bring your own container :)
Downstairs they also have a huge variety of vegan cosmetics and cleaning products.
Al organic. So a huge plus for this store/bistro ❤

Great organic food store, bistro and drugstore - Edit
I've been getting most of my groceries from Rägeboge for the past 10 years when I moved to Winterthur. They have a great selection and even with new all-vegan stores popping up, I keep coming back to Rägeboge.
Read moreIt is not a vegan store, they do sell meat and dairy, but all vegan items have green price tags and are easy to spot.
The store is at a very central location, right next to the main railway station.
The Rägeboge also has a bistro which sells sandwiches, cake and beverages, as well as a lunch dish - which is vegan once or twice a week. On the other days, it's usually vegetarian.
Finally, there's a drugstore on the basement floor and while not all items are vegan, they don't sell anything that has been tested on animals (according to their website).
