more gluten-free than vegan

Decent vegan food but a little underwhelming for the price

a top vegan spot in florence

Great spot for vegan food when you want something a little more formal than a cafe.
Perfect atmosphere for a group dinner or a couples dinner. Knowledgable staff who understand vegetarian versus vegan which can be tricky in Italy.

Pros: beautiful tofu , egg free pasta

Beautiful Gluten-Free Courtyard Restaurant

This restaurant is completely gluten-free, and offers a good range of dishes including pizza, pasta, burgers and wraps. There were plenty of vegetarian dishes although the menu does not indicate which are vegan or vegetarian, (eg: Pad Thai etc), so I went for the obvious Vegan Quinoa Burger. This was delicious, and my son enjoyed his Greek salad and the non-veg dishes were enjoyed by my husband and other son, as was the basket of GF bread with the meal.
The setting was very pretty, an ancient building with a bright and airy courtyard, interesting plants and plenty of shade. Even the trip to the WC was enjoyable for the unusual decor and hanging picture gallery that you pass through on the way.
Well worth the visit, and hope we will go again during our 4 day stay here.

Pros: Food - freshness and variety of dishes, Building and courtyard decor, Totally Gluten-Free so worry-free

Cons: Vegan / vegetarian menu options are not obvious

Great choices for vegans and vegetarians!

Quinoa is an all gluten-free restaurant, tucked away, not far from the Duomo. Lovely inside and outside seating areas and interesting exhibition currently on upstairs. Very helpful and enthusiastic staff. My husband and I shared a quinoa 'pie' to start, which was small but delicious, very tasty! I then had the tofu and vegetables with jasmine rice and tamarind sauce, this was also delicious and very filling. I managed to squeeze in an almond and orange cake with green tea to finish. I would definitely return! There are a couple of meat and fish dishes on the menu too, just to be aware. Definitely recommend as not too expensive and really varied choices.

Pros: Good choices for veggies, helpful, friendly staff, Lovely atmosphere/surroundings

Cons: meat and fish is served here

Hidden and cozy

This place is hidden just beside a church.
They have a decent pad Thai and quinoa salad.
Tons of gluten free options.

Pros: Gluten free

Cons: Might miss out since its hidden

Loved it!

It was a bit hard to find, but the place was super nice. Everything is gluten-free. The food was delicious and service was good. We sat inside, but there was a really nice outside area which would be great during the day. Definitely going to go again.

Pros: atmosphere, gluten-free

great atmosphere!

Mainly Gluten Free. Limited veg options. But the quinoa salad I had was fab.

The outer section is really lively and among plants. Really pretty!

Would come back!
