Chance find. I cycled to another place, but it was closed. On the way back I spotted a chay sign. Stopped my bike, kicked the stand down and got off it. Many local faces looked at me as I entered the open aired restaurant. I pointed to the menu sign and asked for a vegan hu tieu for take away. Got it within 5 minutes. Very friendly locals. No English spoken and no menu in English. My delicious vegan noodle soup was 25.000 Dong.
