poor vegan offerings - Edit
For a vegetarian place there are very few vegan options. The brunch for vegans costs the same but comes without the croissant with no replacement which is pretty poor given how easy it is to find vegan baked goods these days. It has gone downhill in general, a victim of its own popularity, with slow service, long queues and a smaller range of juices and vegan cake (just one now I think) than it used to have.

Cons: big queues, few vegan options

Cutest shop and trendy food - Edit
Pum Pum serves trendy brunch foods like avocado toast and smoothie-ish bowls, along with other options for the less trendy veggie (or omnivore). They had great coffee and each time I went I really enjoyed what I had.

Long wait for a breakfast - Edit
Saturday at 10:20am and the place was almost full, with one last free table we sat at. There was only a waitress for all the customers. We had to wait approx. 25 minutes to order and then another 25 mins. to have it served. Thanks god the avocado + tahini + almond toasts were wonderful. We left at 11:30am and there was a long queue at the door wating for a table.

Cons: Too many tables in too little room, only one waitress, be ready to wait

Great vegetarian café with vegan options. - Edit
It’s suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. I had avocado toast with a vegan latte (they offer almond, soy and oat milk). My boyfriend had the benedict pum pum (avocado toast with benedict eggs) and the focaccia - both only suitable for vegetarians. Everything was delicious. The price is slightly high, but it is worth for the quality of the food and the nice atmosphere. The café is also easy to find, next to the lavapies metro station.

Another step towards Lavapies' gentrification - Edit
Pum Pum cafe is a new modern cafe in the centric neighbourhood of Lavapies. It offers a vegetarian (with labelled vegan options) menu for breakfast, brunch or to eat something in the afternoon.
Read moreWe had two coffees and a piece of the vegan cake of the day. The cake was nice although I didn't like very much the red berries because they were dehydrated, as the ones that you can find in a cereal box.
The food is expensive as expected in a fancy cafe as this one. The quality was good and the staff was friendly.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Expensive

Cozy atmosphere - Edit
Great vegetarian eggs benedict served with avocados, single for €5, double for €7. The coffee and home made breads were amazing. They had milk substitutes: almond, soy, and rice. Nt sre what their vegan options were but staff were very informative about allergens. Great atmosphere but can get quite busy at times and you may need to wait.
