Read moreWe ended up returning to it several times and ate dinner there twice, plus a breakfast.
We wanted to eat every single thing on the menus (both the main menu and their breakfast menu).
Our first meal there we had the asparagus and Manchurian ball starters, both of which were absolutely incredible (and they work really nicely as a pair of starters if sharing). I then followed that up with the risotto Verde which was equally as amazing, at which point I leaned over the table to whisper to my wife that the food is Michelin star quality. They then brought us each a free slice of delicious marble cake, and we then finished it off with deserts. My wife having the insanely tasty baklava, and I had the beautiful berry cheese cake.
We then returned the following night where we had Korean triangles and polenta for starters (both fantastic), and then I had the burger for my main. The burger is huge and super tasty, certainly more elaborate than your standard gormet burger.
I enjoyed the chocolate smoothy/shake with my meal and we didn't have a desert the second night purely because we were too full, but that didn't stop us enjoying the free slice of marble cake at the end.
Finally we returned a third day in the morning for breakfast where we both had the scrambled tofu, and it was by far the most delicious scrambled tofu I've ever had.
I can't recommend Pulse enough, it truly is a hidden gem, perfectly located so easy to walk to in a couple of minutes from the water front, but tucked away from the super busy main street. If you're in Crete, Pulse is an absolute must!

I can't recommend highly enough. Fantastic food, great selection, lovely staff, nice place to sit outside. I wanted to try everything on the menu. I especially loved the asparagus starter, and mushroom main but ate here a few times and it was all great. Separate menu for breakfast. A must if you're in Chania!

We went there 2 times because we wanted to try more food. It's very full, maybe you need to wait to get a table, but the staff really does their best so you get a table quickly and don't have to wait long. Prices are very fine, everything tasted very fresh and delicious!

The menu options where plentiful, and making decisions hard to choose. The starter was falafel and small salad with yogurt type dip. Outstanding and delicious. The main I wanted was moussaka but was sold out so if you are craving it get in earlier. I choose the pulse mushroom. It was ok but not amazing. Will go back for the moussaka for sure. No real view at night but quiet location off the main buzz of the harbour. Super friendly family type staff environment. And totally must visit.

It is understandably popular here so we had to wait around 10 mins for a table. Staff were friendly, the food was amazing. We got the cheese burger which was lovely. They have dessert options but we were too full! Worth a visit
