We have been eating at many vegan restaurants around the world and this is within the best so far. Great food, mousaka -our kids 8 and 12 years old loved this one in particular- beef stew, cheeseburger as well as tzatziki are super delicious. Wonderful wine. And the special extra, different to many vegan restaurants. Located in a prime location with wonderful sea views in the picturesque old town of Chania! Most friendly people also. We definitely will be back very soon to try all the other dishes

Large choice of delicious dishes - Edit
We went to Pulse twice and enjoyed both visits very much. They offer a large choice of dishes and everything we had was delicious. We had the polenta, the mousaka, the casserole, the grilled asparagus, the eat balls, the feta creme, the humus (both with flat bread) and cakes. Everything was top notch! My very favourites were the polenta and the feta creme.

The food options were plentiful and well priced for the portion. We had moussaka and a superfood salad with a side of fries which more than enough. Felt very full afterwards.

A lovely vegan restaurant in Crete! Well worth a visit 🌟 cosy location and almost too many options on the menu, it was hard to choose from all the things that sounded lovely.
Read moreI got the “beef” stew, the flavours were definitely there! But I think it was made with dried soy chunks and they had that secondary papery flavour that’s hard to get rid off, and the consistency isn’t the best in a stew in my opinion. Would be amazing with seitan chunks instead!
My partner got the beetroot carpaccio and quesadillas and loved it! He wouldn’t stop going on about the beetroot carpaccio afterwards!
Friendly staff and a big pro for us was the non alc wine that we haven’t seen anywhere else on the island. 🏝️

Ein echtes Highlight für alle Veganer! Obwohl wir 1,5 Stunden vor der offiziellen Öffnung ankamen, war das Team schon vor Ort und hat uns netterweise trotzdem etwas zu essen gemacht. Der Service war super freundlich und das Essen richtig lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! 😊

We walked past this a few times and were even in the museum beside it but that was probably before it was open. Though there wasn't an obvious sign that I could see adn Chania is a bit of a maze. The food was amazing, vegan meatballs in tomato sauce, falafel and little potato cakes. Home cooked food with amazing flavours. Nice to sit in the open air in a bit of shade too.The best vegan food I had on Crete that wasn't briam or chips. Very nice staff too. I will go again and have a main next time. Seemed quite popular too.

A Marvellous Meal! - Edit
The food here is fantastic - this quaint restaurant-café is tucked away behind the main port at Chania, but if you're outside you'll get ocean views! The restaurant is airy, and in good weather it is beyond a delight to enjoy a meal under the sun and in the cool ocean breeze.
Read moreThe food here is Greek-styled and home-made. The owner is a dedicated woman and it shows. Lovely service and delicious plant-based food! There really isn't much pure Vegan food around Chania - but you the food is so good here I think you'd be happy to eat three meals a day!
We highly recommend this place - and as always are grateful to locate a purely Vegan eatery, particularly in a place where Vegan-friendly food is scarce.

What a chilled little place, right by the water and old town centre, but tucked away from the crowds. Very friendly staff and a huge variety on the menu - we had to keep coming back - most days - to get through what we could, it was all so delicious!

A lovely spot, we had a nice view at sunset. Very friendly staff. We particularly liked the Greek-style “eatballs” and moussaka which were both excellent. The risotto was fine but the portion was too big for us so it felt a bit samey by the end. The baklava for dessert was delicious and a very generous portion. We also liked the house white wine which was very reasonably priced.

The food was very well priced and the taste was AMAZING!
The entire menu is vegan but non vegans would definitely find something here they would enjoy.
Lots of traditional Greek dishes but made vegan. We are here many times and didn't find anything negative. The mousaka, the meatballs, the risotto, the incredible baklava, the mushroom dish... everything. (Although we didn't try the chili non carne)... you won't regret a trip here!
Ohhh... definitely try the carrot lox!!!

The flavorful Greek Style Eatballs were served in a traditional tomato sauce. The fresh Summer Quinoa Salad included quinoa, tomatoes, chickpeas, corn, bell peppers, and carrots and topped with a thick dressing. The slightly spicy Chilli Non Carne included organic sunflower meat, beans, tomatoes, peppers, rice, and herbs. The sweet Baklava was made of flaky filo pastry and nuts and served with vegan cream. Everything was excellent.

Amazing place. Wonderful, unique, flavorful, healthy meals! We plan on going back again before we leave! We got a bunch of starters; asparagus, hummus and feta dips, 2 types of “meat” balls made with veggies and legumes, and lox on a sesame bagel. Everything was wonderful and great location by the water.
