Vegan Poke Bowl - Edit
My Hawaiian bf and I went to Ponos for lunch today. We had a wonderful dining experience. I ordered the vegan poke bowl. It came with sliced Inari Kage (fried tofu), cucumber, carrots, house made kimchee, edamame, ginger, seaweed salad, and brown rice. I think the Inari Kage might have been marinated in teriyaki sauce, because it had a delicious umami flavor. I added their mango hot sauce, Sriracha, and furikake seasoning, for extra flavor. All very fresh. The staff also kindly made some modifications to my bf's order, which was very accommodating. They have a really nice outdoor seating area, where we were able to take our dog Bella to sit in the sunshine.
