Vegan pierogi - Edit
The vast majority of the dishes served here are vegan, and the ones that aren't are vegetarian.
Read moreI came here for a bite to eat mid afternoon. I sat outside on the small wooden terrace and didn't have to wait long until the friendly waitress brought me a menu. The baked pierogi with mushroom sauce was delicious and came with a small pickled side salad.

Absolutely delicious but slow service - Edit
We were waiting for more than an hour after ordering. I was ready to roast it in the review.
Read moreBut the food was SO GOOD. Intensely flavourful, local dishes, cheap and comforting. I cannot praise the cabbage rolls enough. Also the best pierogi we had in Poland so far.
But get ready to wait for a while.

It's very refreshing to see purely vegetarian/vegan pierogi options. I had tofu potatoes, it was great < 3

Very Polish, highly polished - Edit
I like the traditional dishes in vegan/vegetarian. They're all tasty, though for me Polish cuisine can be at times unexciting in seasoning, the food here is all superb. The portion of pierogi is rather small so a soup is a great supplement. They didn't have a cake yesterday unfortunately.

Smacznie - Edit
Kuchnia Polska, domowa, jak u mamy. Kotleciki z brokułów bardzo smaczne. Jeśli chodzi pierogi porcje małe, warto wziąć zupę.

Cheeky chop - Edit
One of the best restaurants in Wrocław, in my opinion. Maybe I’m biased — it’s one of the only places I’ve ever seen with two HappyCow decals in the window. Praise be.
Read moreInspired by Hackman’s belief that Eastern European soups are the best in the world, I kicked things off with the pickled cucumber soup. It was absolutely banging — potatoes in a tangy sour pickle broth? Outrageous. Easily my “soup of the year.”
The pork chop main was fantastic too. I’ll be heading home to raid my bag of wheat gluten in a bid to recreate it. It came with two standout salads and boiled potatoes that tasted like they had been lightly pan-fried with mustard seeds — pure sensory overload.
This place is a gem. It’s the kind of restaurant where the people cooking the food really care, and they make it so simply and soulfully, it almost defies explanation.
Pros: Fresh, Sours , Aye

A tremendous find mate - I still dream about the pickled gherkin soup I had here in May 2023. Eastern Europe, by far the best soups in the world for sure!!

Proper polish made vegetarian - Edit
Best place for any vegetarian or vegan in Wroclaw to try authentic polish food - we just had the pierogi but there was soups and mains as well. A small space so can get full easily at peak times, and the staff were not especially attentive or friendly during our visit. However, food was tasty, if not knock-your-socks-off.

This place deserve more love - my favorite in Wroclaw - Edit
When you enter the place you immediately feel welcome because the staff is super nice. Most of the menu is vegan, vegetarian dishes are indicated with an exclamation mark.
Read moreAs starter I had the cucumbersoup. Just a good, firm, filling soup.
As main dish I ordered the tofu and asked for the extra option: bake it in the oven together with tomate sauce. When they served the dish to me, It was striking how beautifully decorated the plate was. And what a delicious taste! Much better than I expected. The combination duplings - oven - tomatosauce is really, really tasty! I didn't know that Polish food could be so refined! Defnitely a must do when you are in Wroclaw.
Normally I give only 5 stars to vegan restaurants, but this experience was so good that I give them , with a lot of pleasure, all the 5!

One of the best dining-experiences you can get. Family-owned restaurant with a great menu of local food. Very friendly service and delicious polish food. Very popular and no reservations possible. Better take some time waiting if you go there in a bitter group.

Proper affordable Polish cuisine - Edit
My polish meat eater boyfriend said that taking the Kotlet Schabowy (pork chop) was the closest experience to going to your grandma for a Sunday dinner a vegan person could have. The soy "meat" was really juicy and convincing. Pierogi ruskie were tasty, however you could feel that they were frozen because of the texture and water inside them.

Not for everyone - Edit
Friendly atmosphere, excellent service, and fair prices. However, I didn’t like the three main courses I tried. I found them overly flavorful. The portions are really generous, so it's hard to taste more than two dishes without struggling to finish everything. It's ideal for those who love strong flavors and miss meat, as four out of the six main courses aim to mimic it. Different from my idea of vegan/vegetarian cuisine, but suitable for those with different tastes.

A sublime restaurant! - Edit
I have already looked at this restaurant. And after my Free Walking Tour guide recommend this restaurant to us too, I was 100 % sure to visit this place.
Read moreAnd the restaurant is truly amazing! The Polish kitchen already have many local dishes that are vegetarian as default. And at this restaurant you can have many of these in a vegan edition. I had a beetroot soup and some mushroom pierogi, and their homemade cake for dessert. All truly delicious!
So if you, like me, want to try the local kitchen, this is a sublime restaurant to get a true, Polish food experience.
And the staff is really nice too. So s huge recommendation for Pod Przykrywka from me.
Pros: Sublime food, Friendly staff
