Vegan fast food - Edit
It was super exciting to go to a classic fast food restaurant and be able to order anything on the menu; I don’t have options like this where I live. I had a brownie snow day which was delicious and the chicken nuggets, which had nice crispy breading. I also had the iconic burger, which honestly was disappointing and had a rubbery texture. The fries were okay. However, I would definitely go back and try their other options, especially their breakfast and chicken sandwich selections.

Tasty chicken sandwich, liked the Zac sauce. Shake is delicious! Fries are good. Chicken Caesar salad was good! Similar to Next Level Burger. Really nice environment and street parking was available.

I got the e holy guacamole burger. My husband got to e chicken sandwich. We both went for the meal deal. Excellent all around. Service, clean shaded outside seating and delicious food. So pleased with this wonderful place.

They had a fully vegan menu with plenty of gluten free options. Highly recommend the double cheeseburger meal. The ice cream shakes were very creamy and flavorful. I highly recommend the butterfinger snow shake.

I had the chicken wrap which was so good and my partner have the hamburger & animal style fries which she also enjoyed. Definitely nice for a “once-in-a-long-while” stop for some unhealthy vegan fast food.

I will totally stop here again when passing through/by sacramento via 50. Perfect place to take a break and get a quick veggie meal.

Read moreThe chicken and waffle sandwich was amazing. Probably the best I’ve had since going vegan.
The chicken Caesar salad was my absolute favorite. The Caesar dressing is thick and creamy.
The big Zac held together very well and was a delicious burger option. I just had mr. Charlie’s in San Fran the day before and much prefer this one from plant power.
Would 10/10 recommend. I’ve had the shakes as well and they’re delicious.

I tried their Southwest avocado wrap with a side of fries and it was yummy. The one thing I would say for something with the word avocado in it there was barely any avocado it felt like there was maybe a tiny slice. I also tried their cheesecake which was delicious. Overall it was yummy!

Almost tastes like meat (even for omnivores!). Try out the breakfast options aswell. Great place to go when you finished your stay at the local art museums or second hand shops.

Great Shakes and ‘Chicken’! - Edit
I’ve been to this location a few times now and have tried most of their menu. The shakes, fries and nuggets are great as well as the Big Zak. However there were a few burgers that weren’t the best such as the western burger or Holy Guacamole burger. My personal favorite thing to get here is the ‘Chicken’ Wrap with chipotle sauce.

Bought a big Zac, lettuce wrap mushroom burger, and chicken nuggets plus milkshakes for my group. So far been here twice. My non vegan family liked their meals and my hardcore meat and potato spouse even came back with me a second time to try another menu option. If this place was closer I would probably make this a more than once every couple of months treat. I actually don’t eat out much, so this place was a nice treat. My family didn’t even know the food was vegan till I told them.

Mediocre Fast food at its finest - Edit
If plant power had a goal to veganize regular fast food I would say they've done that. But their claim that they are the "future of fast food" worries me if they truly are. They didn't make any improvements off of regular fast food they just stuck a mock meat patty in there and called it a day. I would have liked to see more innovation and flavor. It was bland as hell and just mediocre. I will say that they had a nice dining area and good milkshakes but that's about it.

We ordered all chicken products. My partner got the buffalo crispy chicken with bacon and ranch. I got the basic crispy with ranch, pickles and grilled onions. Our family also ordered the Grilled chicken wrap and southwestern “beefy” wrap. French fries and milkshakes too! Wonderful experience!

Stopped here on a road trip and got lunch combos which included a burger, fries, and a milkshake. My chick’n burger was delicious and my husband loved his beefy burger, too. The milkshakes were soooo yummy and the dipping sauces are very tasty! Will definitely stop again on our next trip through the area!
