Read moreIt's rare to come across a pizza restaurant in the Italian tradition that is 100% vegan... We had to try it.
Here everything is mastered, from the pizza to the desserts. I was able to accompany my pizza with a triple blond beer that was very good.
For pizza, we tasted the Pimped Queen Margherita as well as the Mamma Rossa (spicy). The pizzas were very good, the dough was very soft with a good taste.
As for dessert, it was incredible to be able to eat a vegan dame blanche as it is so rare. It was a good size dessert, composed of three scoops of ice cream with a delicious vanilla flavor, excellent melted chocolate and light whipped cream. What was nice is that we poured the chocolate and cream on the ice cream ourselves. I highly recommend this dessert!

I'm sorry to read a con is tapwater being 1 euro.
In Belgium it's not even mandatory to give any tapwater, so restaurants that do so, are in that regard, already doing something 'extra'. We ask for a 1 euro service cost for tapwater (not only does this include the water but also: 2 glasses, a can for the water, the dishes afterwards and a server bringing them to the table and cleaning it). I hope there is a way to understand this from our point of view too. Because every item, every dish, has in it, a service cost too.
That being said, hope to see you soon, the dame blanche improved a bit!

The napolitan pizza dough is light and easily digerible (I say so as an Italian).

We tried 3 different flavors: pimped margherita, 4 formaggi and cacio e pepe.
The only note I would make is that the cacio e pepe has room for improvement (we didn't love the pink pepper grains on top of it and expected a stronger flavor).
Overall it was a wonderful experience, I hope you open a place in Brussels soon as well!!

Já fui algumas boas vezes na Plant a pizza, mas confesso que tirando a primeira vez que decepcionou, todas as outras vezes fui incrivelmente surpreendida. Bom atendimento, sabores sazonais e frescos. É a segunda melhor pizza da minha vida. (Obs: já não sei quantas vezes fui e ando viciada na 4 queijos rossa).

Very nice pizza! The Pesto Leonardo was delicious. La Mamma Rossa was good, too. Pizza is very filling. Maybe it’s because we also had the fried mushrooms as a starter to share. The dough could be a bit more crispy for me but still worth the 5 ⭐️

Some of the best vegan pizza I've had! We had the spicy cheesy garlic bread, nduja, pepperoni, and magharita pizzas, and a calzone between us. Portion sizes were generous, especially the garlic bread. The restaurant itself has a chill vibe, bright and clean, and the service was attentive and friendly. Their menus are available in both Dutch and English. Our group was 2 vegans and 2 non-vegans, and the dishes were enjoyed by all! Do recommend if you find yourself in Ghent!
