A small scale Saturday Market with local vendors located inside the Plagwitzer Markthalle. Many vendors offer vegan items, including Miyukitchen, ToVu, Ponpoco, INO Cafe, Lerchenhof, Baba Handmade Cafe, and Gohan Power. Open Sat 09:00-14:00.

Toller Ort zum Schlendern und Stöbern - Edit
Ist wirklich ein schöner Ort, um zu Schlendern, quatschen, zu stöbern und ein Getränk zu trinken und was Veganes zu essen.
Read moreDie Stände wechseln. Leider war der tolle Pierogi-Stand vom letzten Mal nicht mehr da. Nicht alles ist vegan und es gibt leider auch Käse und Fleisch/Fisch.
Toiletten sind nicht binär. Schön.

Viele kleine kreative Essensoptionen - Edit
Es macht Spaß am Samstagmorgen die verschiedenen Optionen zu entdecken und probieren. Es gibt viele kleine kreative unabhängige Stände mit handgemachten veganen Optionen. Die Liste wird jedesmal vorher auf ihrer Webseite veröffentlicht. Bei meinem Besuchen gab es vegane Donuts, Dumplings, japanische Kroketten und Mochi, thailändische Gerichte, und fertige Speisen. Es gibt auch verschiedene Getränke. Es ist ein netter Ort für soziale Treffen, mit Sitzen draussen, wo alle etwas probieren und teilen können.

Read moreMy favorite were the kroketten wraps at Miyukitchen - the sauce was amazing and the kroketten come in different types. All of the ones I've tried so far are wonderful: red beet, tofu, smoked tofu, sauerkraut & sesame, miso, sweet potato, and cauliflower. Their mochi was also amazing.
The bao at Gohan Power (I think that was the stall) was also good.
Ente Mich is a fruit and veg stall - their farm is on the edge of Leipzig. I bought some cherries (looked like Rainier), which they just picked the day before! Their strawberries are really good.
The tofu at ToVu had a very strong smoky flavor that was a bit much for me.
A recent addition is Nados Donuts, which were a lot of fun to try. Elaborate toppings, not too sweet.
Nomadengelüste is all vegan and offers dumplings with lots of great toppings, including kimchi, chili sauce, and schmand (like sour cream). It was nice to try the kimchi.
Loved the El Traga Traga vegapan - a hot dog like thing with chimichurri, salsa, jalapeños, and avocado cream sauce.
Dogs are allowed inside the market! There are a couple of chairs outside that people can use to eat at, but not many.

Auf dem Samstagsmarkt wir man als vegan lebender Mensch immer satt & zufrieden! Es gibt leckeren Kuchen & japanische Leckereien, wie japanische Kroketten. Die Kroketten mit den verschiedensten Füllungen kann man sich auch als Wrap mit frischem Salat und hausgemachten Saucen zubereiten lassen. Viel Gemüse für zu Hause gibt’s natürlich auch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
