I got the calzone and garlic bread sticks. Very yummy. I will definitely go back. It is a little heavy but if you are wanting good food this is the place. Plus you can bring non vegan friends here and still can choose from a whole list of foods.

Was looking for an Omni place to eat at and decided on this. Ordered the garlic bread and a calzone. Garlic bread was amazing. I enjoyed the calzone too but it was a little too cheesy for me and I’m not the biggest vegan cheese fan. Would love to return and try a pizza.

The best Italian food in Phoenix - Edit
I’ve personally been coming here since 2009! It’s always my first stop when I’m in town. They have an entire vegan menu and everything is delicious. Today I got the vegan baked ziti and substituted breadsticks instead of the focaccia it comes with *chefs kiss*

Both my partner and I were overwhelmed by how much variety the all-vegan menu had. I cannot wait to try more of the items!
We both got the vegan calzone and they were outstanding! Easily enough for two meals!

Back here for the first time since 2019. I've missed the best vegan Italian in the Valley. Having the Baked Ziti w/Vegan Sausage. Yum, and a great value, because - along with the large, delicate garlic toast wedges - the ample serving is more than satisfying for a single meal. I like the hint of fennel, present but not overwhelming. Next time, I will likely order the vegan Alfredo, something of a rarity and surprisingly good. (A waiter just added a candle to my table, a nice touch.) If you've met the owner, you know what a delight she is. I especially appreciate the lovely patio which, while right on 7th, feels relatively quiet and contained thanks to the thick and high glass panels atop the surrounding courtyard wall. I look forward to resuming something like regular visits here. Join me sometime? ;)

We'll definitely be back since it is just a little over a mile away.

The Vegan Works pizza was absolutely delicious. We subbed arugula for olives. For an appetizer we had the vegan bread sticks with marinara sauce. I will be back and bring friends.

The vegan Calzone was excellent. I’m a big eater and this Calzone was plenty for one person. The vegan items are clearly marked on the menu and the staff could not have been nicer. Highly recommend.

Super friendly greeting from the start. This is a quaint restaurant with a true “Italian” feeling, not to mention a full bar. The vegan menu is the same size as the regular one (see photo). We had the Fettuccine Alfredo, and it was incredible, very creamy. Clearly the owner puts a lot of love into her vegan menu.

Wowza. Hard to know where to start. They have a whole vegan menu. Everything we tried - pizza, calzone, and the baked ziti was fantastic. And then came the dessert - a baked cookie with ice cream that was so good I checked twice to ensure it was vegan. The ice cream was phenomenal.

Definitely in my top five restaurants in Phoenix, and likely near the top of that list. I’ve never had such delicious calzones in my life. The recent addition of Fluffy Vegan pepperoni is very much welcome. The staff is always courteous and at the top of their game, and they’re well acquainted with which options are or can be made vegan. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the experience is always worth it.
